This is the official page of the Lyceum Kuro Neko Anime club of the Lyceum of the Philippines University - Cavite Campus. This organization exists to provide a catalyst for the exchange of the information regarding Japanese animation (anime), Japanese comic (manga), and similar topics between people of common interest.

We are sorry to announce that due to technical difficulties, KUROCON 4, which was to be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, has been cancelled.

LYKNEKO gives its humblest apologies to all guests who were invited to the event. We are very sorry for all the inconvenience we have caused you.

LYKNEKO tries its best in creating events that everyone, not just students, can enjoy. However, complications arose due to the size of the event, and these complications proved too much to handle, and the event impossible to create.

Again, we send our sincerest apologies, and wish that we can continue working with you in the future.

The LYKNEKO application process will start tomorrow, December 2, 2014! Interested applicants or re-applicants can visit us at the JPL roofdeck, have their application orientation and get their signature sheets. Welcome to LYKNEKO Week.

Lyceum Kuro Neko Anime Club offers you a wide range of events that will be open to all Lyceans that want to take part in.

~ CONNECT ~
[ September 15 - 10AM-3PM - JPL Roofdeck ]
Check out our anime collection prepared by LYKNEKO. Those who attend may acquire copies from our members and applicants.
You may also read to your hearts content at our manga library, which features various manga collected by our members.

~ ANIMEFICATION ~
[ September 15 - 3PM-7PM - Audio Visual Theater ]
Bring your friends, popcorn, and some handkerchiefs because we're going on a feels trip. LYKNEKO features two quality anime films that will surely tug at your heartstrings.

~ TRIVIA SHOWDOWN ~

Show off your anime knowledge and form a 3-man team to challenge 3 LYKNEKO Geeks who specialize in their own field. Are you geek enough to win the showdown?

~ COSPLAY CAFE ~
[ September 18 - 8AM-8PM - Library Cafe ]
Take a break and unwind. Enjoy some food and drinks in our Cosplay Cafe. Have your picture taken with one of our beautiful cosplayers.

~ ALTERNATIVE CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE: VOCALOIDS ~
[ September 19 - 4PM-7PM - Library Cafe ]
Attend the Alternative Classroom Experience with your friends and introduce them to the wonderful world of Vocaloids.
A.C.E. will be featuring guest speakers who will talk about what Vocaloids are and how they work.

~ COSPLAY WORKSHOP ~
[ September 20 - 4PM-7PM - Library Cafe ]
Do you like to cosplay? Are you interested in cosplaying? Are you into cosplay photography?
LYKNEKO's Cosplay Workshop aims to help cosplayers to improve their craft, as well as establish a kickstart for those who want to start venturing into this activity.

We are sorry to inform everyone that the Recruitment Week will be POSTPONED and moved to July 28- August 2. Interested applicants can still sign up on the upcoming Animefication Film Showing (time and venue to be discussed) or during the Recruitment Week.

For applicants joining the org, please don't forget to bring P50 as an application fee, claim your Signature sheets, and submit your FB name to join LYKNEKO's Facebook group!

*Applicants who cannot attend the General Assembly can still claim their Signature sheets (and register for the online org group) at the JPL roofdeck after paying the P50 application fee starting June 27.
