The ROTC training officially commenced with the QR code attendance, ensuring the accurate and orderly recording of all cadets present. This was followed by the Drills and Ceremony, it helps cadets develop discipline, teamwork, confidence, and obedience to commands.

After the Drills and Ceremony, all cadets proceeded to SHB Room 210 for the classroom instruction. MSg. Melecio Q. Sagaral (ARM) PA, Admin NCO, conducted the Drills and Ceremony training, where the cadets learned proper military formations, marching techniques, and the ex*****on of commands. This was followed by Cpl. Merly Bagas, PA (Res), Training NCO, who conducted the lecture on Hygiene and Sanitation, emphasizing the importance of personal cleanliness, proper hygiene practices, disease prevention, and maintaining a healthy environment to ensure the well-being and readiness of every cadet. The session strengthened the cadets' understanding of military principles and reinforced the values expected of every ROTC cadet.

The ROTC training officially commenced with the QR code attendance, ensuring the accurate and orderly recording of all cadets present. This was followed by the inspection of proper bearing, during which the cadets' haircut, uniform, grooming, and overall military appearance were checked to ensure discipline and compliance with ROTC standards.

After the inspection, all cadets proceeded to SHB Room 210 for the classroom instruction. Cpl Marlon Nicanor PA (Res), Training NCO conducted the lecture on Military History, where the cadets learned about the development of the military, significant historical events, and the contributions of Filipino soldiers to the nation. This was followed by Cpl Von Axl Joven PA (Res), Training NCO discussion on Military Customs and Traditions, which emphasized military values, discipline, respect, honor, loyalty, and proper etiquette.

The session strengthened the cadets' understanding of military principles and reinforced the values expected of every ROTC cadet.

On July 18, 2026, the CKC ROTC Unit conducted the 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀.𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕.

The training officially began with the scanning of QR Code for the cadet’s attendance, followed by the inspection of proper haircut, attire, bearing, and overall discipline.

The event was honored by the presence of the Guest of Honor and Speaker, 2LT 𝐊𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐇 𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐀 PA, who shared an inspiring message on discipline, leadership, and service. And also the presence of 1LT 𝑽𝑨𝑵𝑰𝑺𝑺𝑨 𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑪𝑶 𝑯 𝑳𝑶𝑭𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑶 PA, (Res) Commanding Officer Alpha “COY” together with the reservists from the company.

The first part of the opening program featured the Declaration and Donning of Ranks, recognizing the newly promoted ROTC officers for their dedication and leadership. The program also featured the ROTCMIS Orientation, Anti-Insurgency Awareness Seminar conducted by NICA10, and orientation on the Basic ROTC Program.

These activities provided cadets with valuable knowledge and marked the beginning of their journey toward becoming disciplined and responsible future reservists.

As part of strengthening institutional collaboration and ensuring the effective implementation of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Program, a formal courtesy call was conducted at Christ the King College, Gingoog City, in honor of MAJ 𝐓𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎 𝐌 𝐑𝐔𝐁𝐈 𝐉𝐑 (INF) PA, Executive Officer, 1001st Community Defense Center (1001CDC), 10RCDG, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, and
Msg 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐐 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋 (Arm) PA, Chief Clerk, 1001st Community Defense Center (1001CDC), 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, the newly appointed Administrative Non-Commissioned Officer (Admin NCO).

The courtesy call served as an opportunity to formally introduce the newly designated Admin NCO and to strengthen the partnership between Christ the King College and the Philippine Army Reserve Command in promoting the goals of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) and the ROTC program. Discussions focused on enhancing coordination, improving administrative support, and ensuring the effective implementation of ROTC activities for Academic Year 2026–2027.

Christ the King College extends its sincere appreciation to MAJ 𝐓𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎 𝐌 𝐑𝐔𝐁𝐈 𝐉𝐑 (INF) PA, and Msg 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐐 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋 (Arm) PA and for their visit and guidance. The ROTC Unit looks forward to a productive and successful partnership under their leadership in advancing the mission and vision of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps.

A new chapter of Discipline, Leadership, Faith, Excellence and Service begins this Saturday, July 18, 2026, as we gather for the Opening Ceremony of Basic ROTC Cadets and the Donning of Ranks of Advance ROTC Officers for A.Y. 2026–2027.

We are privileged to welcome 2LT Kian Jush S Delima, PA, our Guest of Honor and Speaker (GOHAS), who will inspire us with his words of leadership, dedication, and patriotism as we officially commence this academic year's ROTC training.

CKC ROTC Unit conducted an orientation for its Basic Cadets

On 4th of July 2026, CKC ROTC cadets gathered at CKC Ground and Ballistic room for their Orientation, under the supervision of:

The activity commenced early in the morning with the assembly and attendance check of all ROTC cadets. The ROTC Orientation was successfully conducted, bringing together all cadets for their initial formation and orientation. During the activity, cadets received important instructions regarding the ROTC program, rules and regulations, proper conduct, and training expectations. Basic formation and drill practices were also carried out to introduce military discipline, teamwork, and proper bearing.

This activity marks the beginning of every cadet's journey toward becoming responsible and disciplined.
