Prior to the official start of the 12th ROTC Training Session, the cadets from CKC and GCUC were clustered together to ensure an organized and manageable training formation. This arrangement was made due to the limited availability of NCOs, with MSg Melecio Q. Sagaral (Arm) PA, Admin NCO, serving as the sole NCO overseeing the initial organization and coordination of the cadets. The clustering helped maintain order, proper coordination, and unity between the two groups before the training officially commenced.

The activity commenced with the formation and rank inspection of the cadets to ensure proper appearance, discipline, and readiness before the training activities. This was followed by the checking of attendance through the QR code system and the conduct of Drills and Ceremonies, which helped strengthen the cadets’ coordination, discipline, teamwork, alertness, and proper military bearing.

Lectures were subsequently delivered by Sgt Ronaldo C Sagahay Jr PA (Res) on Fundamentals of Infantry Operation, teaches the basic principles and procedures of infantry operations, including discipline, teamwork, coordination, and following instructions during military activities. It helps cadets develop discipline, teamwork, alertness, and leadership skills. This was followed by Sgt Marlon Nicanor PA (Res) on Cyber Security Awareness, This topic teaches the importance of protecting computers, mobile devices, personal information, and online accounts from cyber threats and unauthorized access. It helps cadets become more responsible and careful when using technology and the internet. It teaches them to recognize online threats, protect confidential information, and practice safe digital habits that are important in their studies and future service.

The activity highlighted the introduction of the r***e and sword in ROTC training, where cadets learned their importance, proper handling, carrying positions, and basic movements. It also emphasized the importance of discipline, coordination, proper posture, and military bearing when performing r***e and sword drills. Ended with final QR Code attendance before dismissal.

The activity continued with Weapons Training 1, which provided the cadets with basic knowledge and proper familiarization with the M16 r***e. As part of the practical training, the cadets were taught and given the opportunity to practice the proper assembly and disassembly of the M16 under proper supervision and safety procedures. This activity helped the cadets understand the basic parts and functions of the r***e, develop proper handling habits, improve coordination and attention to detail, and become familiar with the correct sequence of assembly and disassembly. The training also emphasized safety, responsibility, discipline, and careful following of instructions. Ended with final QR Code attendance before dismissal.

Sagaral (Arm) PA, Admin NCO, serving as the sole NCO overseeing the initial organization and coordination of the cadets. The clustering helped maintain order, proper coordination, and unity between the two groups before the training officially commenced.

The activity commenced with Formation and Rank Inspection, ensuring that all cadets were properly organized and maintained the expected military bearing and discipline. This was followed by QR Code Attendance for accurate monitoring and accountability of the cadets. The Drills and Ceremony activity helped the cadets develop discipline, proper bearing, coordination, and teamwork. Through repeated practice of commands, movements, and formations, cadets learned to follow instructions accurately, move as one unit, and maintain proper military conduct. It also helped improve their confidence, alertness, and respect for authority, which are important qualities of a disciplined ROTC cadet.

Lectures were subsequently delivered by Cpl Von Axl Joven PA (Res) on Introduction of Infantry Operations, which provided basic knowledge about infantry operations and their importance in military training. This was followed by a lecture from Cpl Marlon Nicanor PA (Res) on Survival Techniques, help cadets to develop preparedness, resourcefulness, discipline, and the ability to remain calm and make proper decisions during emergency or challenging situations.

Followed by Small Unit Tactics (SUT) practice, which helped cadets develop teamwork, discipline, communication, and proper coordination while learning the basic movements and procedures used by small units in training situations. Ended with final QR Code attendance before dismissal.

Prior to the official start of the 9th ROTC Training Session, the cadets from CKC and GCUC were clustered together to ensure an organized and manageable training formation. This arrangement was made due to the limited availability of NCOs, with MSg Melecio Q. Sagaral (Arm) PA, Admin NCO, serving as the sole NCO overseeing the initial organization and coordination of the cadets. The clustering helped maintain order, proper coordination, and unity between the two groups before the training officially commenced.

The training commenced with platoon formation and the conduct of QR Code attendance to ensure the proper accounting and organization of all cadets. This was followed by Drills and Ceremonies, which included the Flag Racing activity designed to strengthen the cadets discipline, teamwork, coordination, alertness, and military bearing.

Following the physical and ceremonial activities, lectures were conducted to further develop the cadets’ knowledge, awareness, and sense of responsibility. Cpl April Rose G Jadol PA (Res) delivered a lecture on the Rule of Law, emphasizing the importance of discipline, respect for authority, obedience to lawful orders, and compliance with established rules and regulations. The discussion helped the cadets understand that following the law and maintaining discipline are essential qualities of a responsible citizen and future leader. It also encouraged them to practice self-control, respect, and accountability in their daily activities.

To be followed by Cpl Kenneth Valmoria PA (Res) on IED Awareness, which focused on increasing the cadets’ alertness and safety awareness regarding possible hazards. The lecture emphasized the importance of recognizing suspicious objects or situations, avoiding unnecessary contact with potential hazards, maintaining a safe distance, and immediately reporting suspicious incidents to the proper authorities. Through this lecture, the cadets were reminded to remain vigilant and responsible while prioritizing their own safety and the safety of others. Ended with final QR Code attendance before dismissal. The training enhanced discipline & Military knowledge.

Under 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟭𝟲𝟯, tertiary students are required to complete one of the three NSTP components across two semesters: 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗖𝗪𝗧𝗦) for community welfare and development, 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗧𝗦) for education and literacy, or 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀 (𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖) for military leadership, discipline, and preparedness. Each component offers a distinct way for young Filipinos to contribute to their communities and country.

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army recognizes that every path under NSTP can help shape responsible and service-oriented citizens. For those who aspire to develop leadership, discipline, and readiness while answering the call to serve, ROTC offers a meaningful opportunity to take that commitment further. Through training and experience, future cadets can build the foundation needed for national service and pursue a path toward becoming commissioned officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Force.

The ROTC training officially commenced with the QR code attendance, ensuring the accurate and orderly recording of all cadets present. This was followed by classroom instruction.

All cadets proceeded to GCUC Grandstand for class discussion, The lectures were delivered by Cpl Marlon Nicanor PA (Res), Training NCO, who discussed the AFP Mandate, Mission, Functions, and Organization, and Cpl Von Axl Joven PA (Res), Training NCO, who discussed Followership 1. These instructional sessions provided the cadets with a better understanding of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, its organizational structure and responsibilities, as well as the importance of effective followership in military training and leadership.

The classroom instruction was followed by Drills and Ceremonies, allowing the cadets to apply the principles of discipline, proper bearing, coordination, and teamwork. The training concluded with a final QR Code attendance and the orderly dismissal of all personnel.
