Partido State University (ParSU) marks a significant global milestone by breaking into the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Top 100 Universities Worldwide under Category C1: Representative Research Project, ranking 26th in its first participation in the global ranking.

R2R HERPS is a research that establishes the Caramoan Ridge-to-Reef (R2R) Megatransect—spanning highland forests to coastal ecosystems—as a collaborative, community-supported system that enables herpetofaunal biodiversity comparisons, documents new species, trains students, and demonstrates its long-term value as a model for conservation and ecological research in the Philippines.

This project is a collaboration among ParSU-Goa, ParSU-Caramoan, and University of Kansas. It was launched, supported by joint fieldwork, student training, and scholarly exchanges.

This achievement affirms ParSU’s growing presence in the international academic community, reflecting its commitment to research excellence and innovation that generate meaningful, real-world impact in line with its mandates as a state university.

The WURI ranking emphasizes innovation, social responsibility, and practical contributions—areas where ParSU continues to make strides through its programs and initiatives.

Partido State University (ParSU) continues to strengthen its commitment to quality and transformative education as several academic programs successfully earned re-accreditation status from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP).

Among the recognized programs, the Level IV Re-accredited programs stand as a testament to sustained excellence and the highest standards. These include the Bachelor of Tourism Management of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management – San Jose Campus, the Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education of the College of Education, and the BS Biology program of the College of Science.

Meanwhile, the Level III Re-accredited programs likewise reflect strong academic performance and continuous improvement across disciplines. These include the BS Hospitality Management of the College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems – Caramoan Campus, the BS Nutrition and Dietetics of the College of Public Safety and Community Health – Lagonoy Campus, the BS Sanitary Engineering of the College of Engineering and Computational Sciences, and the BS Geology of the College of Science.

Building on these achievements, Level IV accreditation is recognized as the highest level of program quality, awarded to programs that demonstrate excellent outcomes in Research, Teaching and Learning, Community Service, International Linkages and Consortia, and Planning processes that strongly support institutional quality assurance mechanisms.

Similarly, Level III accreditation recognizes programs that have already met high standards and continue to demonstrate excellence in key areas such as Instruction, Extension and/or Research, Faculty Development, Licensure Examination Performance, Consortia/Linkages, and Library and Learning Resources.

The Level IV Re-accredited programs carry a validity period from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2031, while the Level III Re-accredited programs are valid from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2030. These periods reflect the sustained quality and continuing compliance of ParSU’s academic programs in maintaining standards of excellence.

More than institutional achievements, the re-accreditations reflect the collective dedication of administrators, the Quality Assurance Office, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, students, alumni, and stakeholders in ensuring that quality education remains accessible, responsive, and transformative.

Partido State University’s initiative to acquire a Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) has successfully materialized, reinforcing the University’s commitment to responsive and people-centered service. The donation, granted through the PCSO-PAGCOR program and facilitated by Fourth District Representative Arnulf Bryan B. Fuentebella, was formally turned over to ParSU through the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on April 29, 2026, at the PAGCOR Corporate Office in Pasay City.

Representing the University during the turnover ceremony were ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo, and Prof. Charlie V. Balagtas, Vice President for Administration and Finance. PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles was also present along with PAGCOR representatives namely, Vice President for Corporate Social Responsibility Group Atty. Naealla Rose M. Bainto Aguinaldo, and PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tenco. Their presence underscored a shared commitment to initiatives that directly improve community well-being and expand access to essential public services.

The newly acquired PTV which will be assigned to the University Health Services Unit (HSU) will significantly strengthen ParSU’s capacity to provide timely, safe, and reliable patient transport services for its students, personnel, and the wider community. Designed to support urgent and routine medical mobility needs, the PTV is poised to become a vital link in enhancing local health response systems.

The PTV is equipped with a wheelchair, ambulance stretcher with mounted restraining system, built-in medicine cabinet stocked with first aid supplies, 10-pound oxygen tank, and other essential medical equipment and accessories necessary for secure and efficient patient transport.

With this latest addition, ParSU continues to broaden its service reach and future-ready community engagement initiatives by bringing critical assistance closer to the people, which directly supports the university’s Strategic Thrust Number 6: Achieving Sustainable and Resilient Academic Infrastructure, particularly in capacitating and enhancing services of the HSU.

More than a transport vehicle, the PTV stands as a concrete expression of the University’s mission: ensuring that quality care, compassion, and responsive service are never limited by distance.

Designed to serve as a dynamic medium for promotion, advertising, and information dissemination, the new digital landmark marks another step forward in enhancing the University’s visibility and stakeholder engagement.

The LED billboard is envisioned to become a vital channel for showcasing ParSU’s academic programs, achievements, events, announcements, and institutional milestones. Strategically located at the main entrance, it will provide students, employees, stakeholders, guests, and the wider community with timely updates and relevant information in a more engaging and modern format.

Beyond its communication value, the LED billboard is also expected to generate long-term cost savings by significantly reducing the repeated production of tarpaulins, streamers, posters, and other printed advertising materials commonly used for campus announcements and promotions. This shift supports more efficient resource utilization while promoting environmentally responsible practices.

This development reflects ParSU’s commitment to strengthening its public presence, leveraging technology, and creating smarter spaces that support efficient communication and a progressive campus environment.
