The College of Teacher Education welcomed freshmen and continuing students through CTED UGYON 2026, bringing faculty members, student leaders, and students together for an afternoon of inspiration, fellowship, and shared purpose on July 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Guided by the theme โUsa Ka Damgo, Usa Ka Katuyuan,โ the event encouraged every future educator to pursue excellence, serve with integrity, and continue learning with purpose.
Dr. Maria Magdalena B. Sabando opened the program with welcoming remarks, while guest speaker Dr. Von Bruun M. Pelletero inspired students to lead with integrity, compassion, and dedication to the teaching profession.

That message came to life through lively intermission performances, the introduction of CTED faculty and staff, the recognition of outgoing CTED Student Government and Local Student Organization officers, the distribution of welcome tokens to freshmen, and interactive games that strengthened friendships across year levels.
More than a welcome program, CTED UGYON 2026 celebrated new beginnings, meaningful connections, and the shared goal of preparing educators who will make a difference in the future.
To our faculty, staff, student leaders, performers, volunteers, and participants, thank you for making this event possible. Your passion, dedication, and teamwork made the celebration a memorable start to another meaningful year in the College of Teacher Education.
