All College Student Affairs and Services Coordinators (CSASCs) are hereby strongly reminded to ensure the full and uncompromising enforcement of CMO No. 63, s. 2017 in all student-related undertakings.

This directive explicitly covers the conduct of:
• Research activities
• Extension work
• Community engagement initiatives, and among others.

All such activities must be carried out under strict supervision of the designated faculty-in-charge and with proper institutional authorization at all times.

Let it be clearly understood:
The University shall not be held liable for any student participation in private, personal, or external engagements conducted without prior approval and official consent from the University.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝟐.𝟎 | 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 🛠️📄

At 1:00 PM, the journey continued as 𝗠𝘅. 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗯 𝗛. 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗼, CSC President, introduced the final speaker for Project K.W.A.R.T.A., guiding the participants toward securing their financial future.

For the continuation of Project K.W.A.R.T.A., 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝟯, “𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱: 𝗔 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆,” was discussed by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗡. 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗱𝗮𝗼, Area Supervisor of Palawan Pawnshop-Albay. She shared valuable insights on the gold standard of investing, focusing on financial security through practical and accessible opportunities.

The program then transitioned to another valuable session led by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘇, Operations Manager of Powerfactor Natizane and faculty member of the BU College of Engineering. She shared her expertise on crafting a winning CV and résumé, mastering mock interviews, and building a strong personal brand, helping our graduating BUGeños develop the professional character sheets they need to stand out to any recruiter.

The event concluded with a heartwarming message from 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗢. 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗲, CSC Secretary, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝟮.𝟬.

Despite the shift to a virtual mode, our graduating BUGeños proved that they are ready to adapt, excel, and conquer the professional world. Graduation is the next level, and we are confident that you are now ready! 🎓✨

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝟐.𝟎 | 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 💸

Earlier today, the quest for career readiness officially began! Led by 𝗕𝗨 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗦𝗖 and 𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, we kicked off our morning session at 8:30 AM with the Opening Prayer and the Philippine National Anthem, grounding ourselves in our roots before stepping into a day of growth and learning.

The opening remarks were delivered by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗛. 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘇, CSAS Coordinator and CSC Adviser, setting the meaningful and empowering session.

The program then proceeded to its first major developmental pillar—𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆. This session aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world economic practice, ensuring that our soon-to-be graduates BUGeños are equipped with the fiscal intelligence needed for the professional landscape.

𝗠𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣. 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 introduced our resource speakers for 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗞.𝗪.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧.𝗔. (𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀)—an initiative that goes beyond money, empowering every BUGeño to achieve quality education (SDG 4) and contribute to economic growth (SDG 😎.

Our morning quest guides were 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝗶ñ𝗼, a staff member of the BU Intellectual Property Management Division, an Agribusiness graduate from Batch 2013, former AVES Chairman, and currently a faculty member of BU Polangui teaching Financial Management. For Topic 1, “𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆,” he shared valuable insights on the foundational importance of financial literacy and emphasized how smart money habits begin with informed decisions.

For Topic 2, “𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁’𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆,” we were led by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗫𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗜. 𝗔𝗱𝗲𝗹, Chief Compliance Officer of Rural Bank of Guinobatan, Inc., who guided students on building financial responsibility and developing a strong culture of saving.

We wrapped up the morning session by awarding certificates to our resource speakers and participants, followed by the inspiring closing remarks from 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗭𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗼, AVES President.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗢 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 💡👩🏼‍💼

The 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗻𝗲 (𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗢) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 officially commenced at 1:00 PM at the BU Guinobatan FTC Hall, led by the 𝗕𝗨 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, bringing together bright BUGeño minds ready to innovate, pitch, and inspire.

The program began with an Opening Prayer, the Philippine National Anthem and the BU Hymn. This was followed by the Opening Remarks delivered by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗛. 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘇, 𝗖𝗦𝗔𝗖/𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿, who encouraged participants to transform their ideas into impactful ventures.

Guided by our esteemed panel of judges, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗶𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮ñ𝗼, Faculty of the Agribusiness Department; 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿, Agriculturist II and member of the YFC Regional Project Management Team; and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗢. 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮, Faculty of the Agribusiness Department, the event highlighted innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial excellence.

• “𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲” by Irish Nicole Ibañez, Cielo Gimarino, and Marjorie Ricafort from Agribusiness Department.

From concept to pitch, our student innovators showcased not only their business ideas but also their passion for creating meaningful and sustainable ventures.

The program concluded with the Closing Remarks delivered by Jacob H. Amano, President of the BU Guinobatan College Student Council.
