The seminar aimed to enhance the participantsโ€™ understanding of Thematic Teaching and its application in lesson planning and classroom instruction.

Serving as resource speaker was Maโ€™am Charesse Theanelle L. Macawile, Teacher V of Tubabao National High School, who shared her expertise and practical insights on the said teaching approach.

The seminar culminated in a hands-on activity where participants developed their ILAW lesson plans incorporating Thematic Teaching, allowing them to apply the concepts discussed during the said session.

Day 2 of the GSSE DAYS 2026, held on September 25, 2026, at the Makeshift Classrooms in ESSU-GUIUAN, brought another memorable day of learning, competition, camaraderie, and school spirit. Participants from the different teams gathered to showcase their knowledge, confidence, thinking, and strategic skills across a variety of competitions.

The day featured exciting evets, from the quick thinking and teamwork required in Pinoy Henyo, to the knowledge and recall tested in Quiz Bee and Guess the Flag. The Extemporaneous Speech Competition challenged participants to articulate their thoughts with confidence and clarity, while Chess tested patience, foresight, and strategic thinking across the board.

A warm and heartfelt congratulations to all the winners of the various competetions! Your preparation, determination, and dedication have truly paid off. May these achievements inspire you to continue developing your skills and pursuing excellence.

We also extend our appreciation to all participants who took part in today's event. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and willingness to represent your respective teams made each activity more meaningful and exciting.

In celebration of unity, camaraderie, and resilience, GSSE members gathered at ESSU Covered Court for the opening of the first-ever โ€œ๐†๐’๐’๐„ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”,โ€ on September 18.

With the theme โ€œ๐‘บ๐’๐’„๐‘บ๐’•๐’–๐’… ๐‘ฎ๐’‚๐’•๐’‰๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’Š๐’ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘น๐’Š๐’”๐’† ๐’๐’‡ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฎ๐’†๐’๐’†๐’“๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐’˜๐’Š๐’•๐’‰ ๐‘ฏ๐’๐’‘๐’† ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘น๐’†๐’”๐’Š๐’๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’„๐’š,โ€ the event brings together four teamsโ€”Apolaki, Maguayen, Dumakulem, and Idiyanale โ€” in a series of activities promoting camaraderie, teamwork, and friendly competition.

Isang makabuluhan at makulay na pagdiriwang ang naganap sa Teatro Makandog noong Agosto 27, 2026, bilang pangwakas na pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, na dinaluhan ng mga mag-aaral ng ESSU Guiuan.

Sa temang โ€œWikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,โ€ naging tampok sa programa ang mga makukulay na pagtatanghal ng Katutubong Sayaw na nagbigay-buhay sa ating mga tradisyon at kultura.

Tampok din sa pagdiriwang ang Rampa ng Kasuotang Pilipino, kung saan ipinamalas ng mga kalahok ang kanilang talento, kumpiyansa, at pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino.

Naging bahagi rin ng programa ang pagkakaloob ng mga sertipiko at pagkilala sa mga mag-aaral na lumahok sa iba't ibang patimpalak, bilang paggawad sa kanilang talento, pagsisikap, at pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang.

Sa bawat pagtatanghal, patimpalak, at pagkilala, muling naipamalas na ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang wika, kundi bahagi ng ating kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa bilang mga Pilipino.
