𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒆:
1. Applicants shall have at least a "Very Satisfactory" performance rating in the last rating period as certified by the previous employer;
2. Non-government employee shall submit a certificate of good moral character as certified by the immediate supervisor.

𝑬𝑬𝑶𝑷 𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑺:
1. Prioritization of pregnant women, lactating/breasfeeding mothers and differently able applicants/employees shall be ensured during the conduct of interview and exam;
2. Examination and interview of applicants with disability shall be administer through the assistance of Special Education Teachers from the College of Education;
3. During the interview, the HRMSPB members shall only ask questions related to selection criteria. Panelist may only ask questions about candidates' disability only in so far as to put the life of the person or their colleagues in danger.

The student research conference, organized by the Southern Luzon State University Office of Research Services, brought together student-researchers (with a total of 13 student papers) from various colleges and campuses of SLSU which showcased innovative studies that address pressing societal concerns. The said conference was part of the Science, Technlogy, and Innovation Week 2026 Celebration of SLSU.

May this milestone inspire more breakthroughs, continue to empower communities through research, and commitment to advancing the nursing profession through scholarly inquiry of next generation of student-nurses

Southern Luzon State University – Gumaca Campus proudly showcased students’ innovation in the Booth Display during opening of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (STIW) 2026 celebration at SLSU Main Campus, Lucban, Quezon, on September 14, 2026.

The booth, titled 𝗥𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗧 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗦𝗘, highlighted the 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗨–𝗚𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 through their class projects and outputs.

The main attractions were the innovations of Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Computer Technology (BIT–CPT) students, featuring the 𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙈𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 which is designed to help visually impared individuals for better mobility by providing real-time environment awareness. Another innovation displayed is the 𝙋𝙚𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚: 𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧 which is designed to help busy pet owners in ensuring that their pets will have food on time. Other displays included informative pamphlets and informative manuals on technology and advancements.

The booth also presented 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 developed by Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (BSED–Math) students. These materials introduced creative approaches and effective tools for teaching mathematics concepts to secondary school learners without using the electricity. These innovations provides alternative tool that can be used to schools with limited electric supply and other technology tools.

The booth were designed and organized by BIT–CPT students: Raynee Vedano, Aljon Anca, Mhyrene Fontanilla, and Jesmar Barretto, together with BSED–Mathematics students: Noemi Mandac, Jhona May Monreal, and Sherwin Paste. The campus booth was supervised by BIT–CPT Instructor Mr. Ian Titus Ramones, with the support of Campus Director Dr. Imelda A. Tangalin.

The participation of SLSU–Gumaca in STIW 2026 reflects the institution’s vision of producing graduates who are not only skilled but also socially responsible innovators. By integrating science, technology, and education, the campus continues to contribute to national resilience and sustainable progress.

Other colleges and campuses showcased different innovations that centers on the STIW Celebration theme: Siyensya, Teknolohiya, at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Kinabukasan is the STIW 2026 Celebration theme with Sub-theme: Science, Technology, and Digital Innovation: Driving Food Security, Sustainability, and National Resilience
