Today was more than just a training—it was a reminder that a simple skill, when learned and practiced, can become a gift of life.

My heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made our Hands-Only CPR Training meaningful and memorable. To the Antique Medical Society (AMS), thank you for generously sharing your knowledge, time, and expertise with our students. Your willingness to teach and empower the next generation of responders is truly appreciated.

To our University of Antique–Hamtic Campus administrators, faculty, Student Government, student aiders, and especially our first-year students, thank you for your cooperation, enthusiasm, and active participation. Seeing our students learn, practice, and gain confidence reminded us why activities like this matter.

❤️‍🩹 LEARN. PRACTICE. BE READY.

Today, the University of Antique–Hamtic Campus, through the Health Unit, in partnership with the Antique Medical Society (AMS), successfully conducted the Hands-Only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training for our first-year students.

From learning how to recognize cardiac arrest and activate emergency medical assistance to witnessing the actual demonstration and performing the return demonstration, our students had the opportunity to learn and practice an essential life-saving skill.

A heartfelt thank you to the Antique Medical Society for generously sharing their expertise and making this meaningful learning experience possible. 🩺❤️

We also extend our appreciation to our University administrators, faculty members, Student Government, Student Aiders, and all participating students for their support and active participation.

Because in an emergency, every second matters—and every response counts.

Nagbabala ang Department of Health (DOH) sa patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng chronic kidney disease (CKD) sa bansa, kung saan maging mga bata ay naaapektuhan na rin ng sakit. Dahil dito, paiigtingin ang primary care at mga programang pang-prebensyon laban sa mga pangunahing sanhi nito gaya ng diabetes at altapresyon.

Binigyang-diin ng DOH ang kahalagahan ng mas maagang pag-iwas sa sakit, lalo na sa pamamagitan ng tamang pagkain at aktibong pamumuhay. Layunin nitong mabawasan ang panganib ng diabetes at iba pang kondisyon na maaaring mauwi sa CKD.
