FYI📢TDP and TES Scholars📢
In reference to the account opening procedures of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), this post is intended exclusively to guide TES and TDP student-grantees in completing their online account application.
To ensure a smooth and successful enrollment, follow the step-by-step process below and take note of the following:
❌ 1 . Do NOT upload improper selfies
Avoid taking photos while topless, wearing inappropriate attire, or using “model poses.” Always present yourself properly (decent attire, clear and formal photo). Please look for a well-lighted area and a decent background before taking a photo.
❌ 2. Do NOT submit incorrect or incomplete information
Make sure your name, address, and details EXACTLY MATCH your ID. Many applications are being returned due to minor errors—please double-check before submitting.
❌ 3. Do NOT go to the branch to claim a physical card unless necessary
Opening a Piso Plus account does NOT automatically require a physical card. Requests for a card shall be coordinated to the HEI scholarship coordinators and to CHED.
❌ 4. Do NOT assume automatic approval of your application
Some applications are placed on hold for verification against the official CHED-UniFAST grantees list.
If using PhilSys ID, ensure your identity can still be validated as a CHED grantee.
