Let me tell you a story about West Visayas State University-Himamaylan City Campus. A story of connection, leadership, and cultural appreciation that goes beyond borders. On March 21, the Campus Student Council proudly represented WVSU-HCC in the Phil-Thai-Indo Cultural Exchange held via Zoom, strengthening international ties and promoting intercultural understanding.

Present during the virtual event were Chairperson Cedric T. Sitjar, Vice Chairperson Eds Shanlymar R. Tan, Councilors Natalie Badian and Francine Nicole Cabales, and SSG representatives Elyza Villaluz and Mary Rose Reyes. The session featured distinguished guest speakers from Jakarta State University in Indonesia, Ms. Devi Mayanti Magdalena Manullang and Ms. Lutfia Hapsari, along with students from Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University in Thailand, who delivered inspiring messages during their respective segments.

One of the highlights of the event was the breakout room session held from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, where participants actively presented and shared their cultures and school traditions. Through meaningful dialogue and cultural exchange, the activity fostered unity, global awareness, and mutual respect among participating institutions.
