Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) has been accredited by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), qualifying the University as an eligible State University proponent for NCCA programs and projects.

This accreditation opens opportunities for the University to develop and implement initiatives in culture and the arts, heritage preservation, cultural education, and community engagement.
