Please be guided that all NSTP classes on Saturday, August 22, 2026, will be conducted asynchronously, as approved by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

In consideration of student safety and travel expenses following the August 21 holiday, instruction will shift to this format for the day.

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective class facilitators and check their designated class communication channels for further instructions and learning requirements.

ICYMI | The Campus Information Systems and Analytics (CISA) Office and Registrar’s Office of Southern Leyte State University–Hinunangan Campus conducted “SYNC & SERVE: An In-Depth Orientation on the CISA and Registrar’s Services” on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Student Welfare and Development Center (SWaDC).

The orientation, designed for new students and transferees, introduced the University’s digital platforms, information systems, frontline services, and emerging technologies aimed at making academic transactions more accessible, efficient, and student-centered.

Southern Leyte State University–Hinunangan Campus extends its sincere congratulations to its newly hired and promoted personnel who took their oath of office on August 14, 2026, at the SLSU Main Campus, Sogod.

The ceremony was held in the presence of University President Dr. Jude A. Duarte, with the support of Campus Director Dr. Ian A. Navarrete and Human Resource Officer Engr. Carol Ann Orias.

This milestone reflects both professional growth and a renewed commitment to excellence, integrity, and dedicated service to the University community.

Southern Leyte State University–Hinunangan Campus sincerely expresses its gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Hinunangan, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Engr. Ymard Joseph Tocmo, for its valuable assistance in the development of the campus parking area.

The LGU provided soil and gravel filling materials and extended the use of heavy equipment for site grading, leveling, and compaction, helping prepare the area for safe and functional parking.

SLSU-Hinunangan deeply appreciates this meaningful support, which reflects the strong partnership between the University and the local government in advancing facilities and services for the campus community.

Our sincere thanks to Mayor Tocmo, LGU-Hinunangan officials and personnel, and everyone who contributed to this initiative.
