ISU–City of Ilagan Campus Architecture Students, Nakiisa sa Pagbubukas ng 2026 Isabela Tourism Month

Nakisaya, at buong-puwersang sumama ang mga mag-aaral ng arkitektura ng Isabela State University–City of Ilagan Campus sa opisyal na Kick-Off Opening Ceremony NG National Tourism Month 2026 ng Isabela na ginanap ngayong Setyembre 1, 2026, sa Isabela Museum and Library sa lungsod na ito.

Bitbit ang temang “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism,” nakatuon ang pagdiriwang ngayong taon sa mahalagang papel ng makabagong teknolohiya at inobasyon sa paghubog ng mas maunlad na hinaharap ng turismo sa buong lalawigan.

Bilang kinatawan ng ISU - Ilagan Campus, pormal na inanyayahan at hinikayat ni Engr. Alfonso R. Simon, PhD, Cluster Executive Officer, ang mga mag-aaral ng pamantasan, lalo na ang mga mag-aaral ng kursong Architecture na makiisa at maging bahagi ng program na ito.

Sa kanyang ipinaabot na mensahe, muli niyang pinagtibay ang komitment ng unibersidad sa pagpapalakas ng pakikiisa at pag-aambag sa paglago ng turismo at pankulturang pag-unlad sa Isabela.

Dumalo at nakiisa rin sa programa sina Joane T. Maranan, Provincial Tourism Head, at Ma. Cristina Simon, Pangulo ng City of Ilagan Tourism Office, kasama sina Architect Blessie M. Laguna, Architect Jefsie Antonio, upang ipagdiwang ang mayamang pamana ng lalawigan.

Sa kanyang pahayag, binigyang-diin ni Ma. Cristina R. Simon ang kahalagahan ng turismo sa komunidad, 'Let's continue to believe in the power of tourism to bring opportunities and good life, let us move forward together.'

Pinangunahan din ni Dr. Troy Alexander G. Miano, Regional Director ng Department of Tourism Region II, ang okasyon kung saan ibinahagi niya ang kanyang mga mensahe at pananaw ukol sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng turismo sa rehiyon.

Sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok na ito, patuloy na pinangungunahan ng ISU–City of Ilagan kasama ang mga architecture students ang pagtataguyod ng kultura, inobasyon, at pakikipag-ugnayan sa komunidad upang mas mapalago pa ang turismo sa Lalawigan ng Isabela.

𝐈𝐒𝐔–𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

The Isabela State University–City of Ilagan Campus proudly takes part in the Kick-Off Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Isabela Tourism Month Celebration on September 1, 2026, at the Isabela Museum and Library, City of Ilagan.

With this year’s theme, “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism,” the celebration highlights the role of innovation and technology in shaping the future of tourism in the province.

Representing the ISU-Ilagan community, Dr. Alfonso R. Simon, Cluster Executive Officer, delivered the Message of Support, reaffirming the University’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and contributing to the growth of tourism and cultural development in Isabela.

Adding vibrance to the celebration, the Abbayao Pangkat Mananayaw showcased the talent, artistry, and cultural pride of the University through its performances.

The celebration was also graced by the presence of Dr. Troy Alexander G. Miano, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism Region II, who shared his message and insights on the continuing development of tourism in the region.

Also participating in the celebration were Architect Blessie M. Laguna, Architect Jefsie Antonio, and students of Isabela State University, joining fellow tourism stakeholders and partners in celebrating Isabela’s rich cultural heritage and promising tourism future.

Through active participation, ISU–City of Ilagan continues to champion culture, creativity, innovation, and community engagement in advancing tourism in the Province of Isabela.

ISUans, let us continue to be partners in promoting Isabela—its culture, heritage, people, and destinations.
