𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 | Graduating student researchers from the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology gathered at the New CEAT AVR and CSC office as the 2026 CEATIFIC Conference officially commenced, highlighting this year’s Undergraduate Student Research Colloquium anchored on the theme, “Creativity in the Emerging Age of Technology.”

The event featured innovative undergraduate research presentations across technological, technical, social, and higher education categories, providing students a platform to showcase ideas, creativity, and research-driven solutions for the emerging technological landscape.

Meanwhile, the awarding ceremony of outstanding research presentations is set to take place this afternoon at 1:00 PM.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 || 𝗜𝗦𝗨 - 𝗜𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼

Participated by various Local Government Units, Partner Organizations, Public and Private Entities, the ISU-Ilagan RDET Office successfully conducted its 2026 Research And Extension Caravan at the Isabela State University - Ilagan Campus, today, May 7, 2026.

Embedded in the University's goal of achieving the frontier of research in the ASEAN Region and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals, the Caravan served as an avenue for external partners to explore and scout innovations and programs by the campus through its students and faculty from the different colleges for possible implementation and propagation within their respective communities and fields.

Scholars from the ISU Community pitched innovations concerning the fields of technical, techno, social, higher education, and extension sectors.

Another key highlight of this event was the virtual participation of keynote speaker Mary Margaret Macasaet Barro, the Executive Director of the Makati Medical Center Foundation, and a partner in the Philippine Marine Corp Foundation; through her extensive experience in the field of community outreach and parnerships, she has graced the event with her valuable insights.

On the part of the Research Development, and Extension Training unit of ISU - Ilagan, this event serves as a milestone for advancing the interests and excellence of the Isabela State University in the field of innovation and collaboration.

Work in Ilagan is suspended on Monday, May 4, 2026, after the city government declared it a Special (Non-Working) Day in celebration of its 340th founding anniversary, “Aggaw na Ilagan,” as stated in Executive Order No. 009, Series of 2026; the public is encouraged to take note of the holiday and keep an eye out for updates on activities lined up for the celebration.

Executive Committee Applications are Now Closed

As previously announced, the application period for the Executive Committee officially ended today, April 27, 2026. We will no longer be accepting additional applications for the Executive Committee.

However, applications are still open for Legislative Committee Members and Special Committee positions. We encourage interested students to continue applying and take part in serving the CEAT community. The Executive Committee will be responsible for appointing members to these committees.
