MSU-IIT joins the entire MSU system in celebrating the 65th Founding Anniversary of MSU!

With the theme, “MSU @ 65: Kultura, Kahusayan, at Kaunlaran tungo sa isang Inklusibong Pamantasan,” this year’s celebration honors MSU’s steadfast mission in advancing an inclusive and holistic university for the Mindanaoan youth.

The MSU-IIT College of Health Sciences Student Council (CHS–SC) formally announces the appointment of:

Pursuant to Article VIII, Sections 13-15 of the 2025 KASAMA Constitution and By-Laws, these appointments take effect immediately upon issuance.

Under the leadership of Vice Governor Hamim Pamanay, the Council continues to strengthen its legislative functions and uphold accountable, effective, and service-driven student governance.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗛𝗦–𝗦𝗖 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

The College of Health Sciences – Student Council hereby formally appoints the CHS–SC Adviser and Financial Adviser for Academic Year 2026–2027.

In accordance with Article VIII, Section 2 of the 2025 KASAMA Constitution and By-Laws (CBL),𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗘𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗲 𝗔. 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗔𝗡, 𝗥𝗡 is appointed as the official Adviser of the College of Health Sciences – Student Council. The designated Financial Adviser, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗝𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀, shall likewise assist the Council in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and accountability in its fiscal management.

The appointed advisers shall provide guidance and oversight in the Council’s functions, direction, accountability, and financial affairs throughout Academic Year 2026–2027, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and existing university policies.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon its issuance and shall remain in full force throughout Academic Year 2026–2027, unless otherwise amended or revoked in accordance with existing rules and regulations.

The College of Health Sciences - Student Council hereby formally announces the appointment of 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗠. 𝗚𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁 as the 𝗖𝗛𝗦–𝗦𝗖 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, pursuant to Article VIII, Section 9 of the 2025 KASAMA Constitution and By-Laws (CBL).

As Executive Secretary, he shall be entrusted with maintaining and safeguarding council records and documents, facilitating official communications and meeting notices, and supporting the smooth and efficient administrative operations of the College Student Council.

The appointed Executive Secretary shall assume office immediately upon the issuance of this Executive Order and shall perform the duties and responsibilities prescribed under the 2025 KASAMA CBL, as well as such other functions as may be necessary for the effective operation of the council.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon its issuance and shall remain in full force throughout Academic Year 2026-2027, unless otherwise amended or revoked in accordance with existing rules and regulations.

On August 24 at the MSU-IIT Gymnasium, a major milestone unfolded as 156 student nurses of Batch Avelora were officially recognized during the 21st Capping, Badging, and Candlelighting Ceremonies.

Stepping beyond the classroom and into clinical practice, these second-year health professionals carry the light of hope, compassionate care, and IITian excellence as they answer the noble calling of nursing.

Congratulations, Batch Avelora! May your light shine bright in every life you touch.

📢 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦📢

Due to the devastating predawn fire that destroyed half of the Iligan City Wet Market at Barangay Poblacion last August 23, 2026, the College of Health Sciences - Student Council has launched a donation drive to provide immediate assistance to those affected by the disaster.

The initiative calls for food, water, clothing, hygiene kits, and monetary donations to support the displaced vendors, market workers, and their families as they navigate this incredibly difficult time and begin to rebuild their livelihoods.

In the spirit of bayanihan, let us extend our hands to our fellow Iliganons. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go a long way in bringing hope and relief to our community.
