MSU-IITโ€™s Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE) of the College of Engineering (COE) takes part in an electrification project in Sitio Libandayan, one of the five major sitios in Brgy. Rogongon, Iligan City. Together with the Iligan Light and Power, Inc. (ILPI), Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers - Iligan Bay Chapter (IIEE - IBC), and Iligan Bay Chamber of Industries (IBCI), the problem of limited and a lack of access to stable electricity in the area was addressed.

MSU-IITโ€™s Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE) of the College of Engineering (COE) takes part in an electrification project in Sitio Libandayan, one of the five major sitios in Brgy. Huge congratulations to our BS Industrial Automation and Mechatronics (BS IAM) alumni, Roneil Arriesgado and Abraham Badar, for achieving another milestone on the international stage by winning a bronze medal at the WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025!

Competing among 320 participants from 30 countries across various skill categories, MSU-IITโ€™s Mechatronics Team delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating exceptional technical mastery and innovative problem-solving in the Mechatronics Category.

This achievement also highlights the dedication and hard work of the faculty and staff, particularly Coaches Faith Q. Baldonado, Jonathan T. Solano, Erman Marajas, and Roque Requino.
