𝐖𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐀-𝐒𝐌𝐂𝐈𝐈 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟒𝐓𝐇 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐌 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

Ms. Aisah Balt Basher and Ms. Sittie Salamah H. Paito of the Wihdah Muslim Students Association (WIMSA) of St. Michael’s College of Iligan, Inc. participated in the 4th Muslim Youth Conference, held on August 18–20, 2026, at Chali Resort & Conference Center, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.

Organized by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos – Region X (NCMF-X) in partnership with the Hanns Seidel Foundation – Philippines, the conference brought together Muslim youth to strengthen their knowledge, leadership competencies, responsible citizenship, and participation in peacebuilding and community development.

Through this meaningful engagement, our WIMSA officers and members gained valuable insights on leadership, Philippine laws and policies, peacebuilding, social cohesion, inclusivity, and community participation—empowering them to become young leaders and advocates of peace and positive social change.
SMCII proudly supports opportunities that empower our Muslim students to lead, serve, build bridges, and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the nation. 💙
