Now calling the Philippines home and working alongside communities, including initiatives that support Filipino farmers and local development, ๐€๐ฆ๐›๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐š๐๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ๐ž ๐˜.๐Œ. ๐–๐จ๐ง๐  (๐‘๐ž๐ญ.) is exactly the kind of visionary the MSU-IIT Class of 2026 deserves to hear from.

A leader who has helped move billions for climate justice, stood up for vulnerable communities across Asia and the Pacific, and broken barriers as the first openly le***an person and first LGBTQ person of color to hold an ambassador-level post in U.S. history, she brings to our commencement stage a powerful message of courage, service, and transformational leadership that speaks directly to the aspirations of MSU-IIT graduates.

When she takes the MSU-IIT commencement stage on July 29, 2026, may her story move every graduate to turn conviction into action and aspiration into impact.
