What started as a training program became an extraordinary journey of learning, friendship, and cultural discovery.

The 2026 INTACT Base Taiwan–Philippines Mandarin Teacher Training and Cultural Experience Program proudly united delegates from the four Philippine INTACT Base Hubs—Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Bulacan State University, Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U), and the MSU-IIT INTACT Base Mindanao Hub —alongside our esteemed partner universities in Taiwan: National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Kun Shan University (KSU), and Cheng Shiu University (CSU).

From immersive Mandarin learning and meaningful cultural experiences to inspiring academic exchanges and lasting friendships, every moment reminded us that education knows no borders. Together, we strengthened partnerships, celebrated our shared cultures, and embraced the vision of preparing globally competent educators and future leaders.

Meaningful collaborations create greater opportunities for students.

May 25, 2026, the Mindanao hub office had the opportunity to visit Caraga State University Main Campus in Butuan City together with the Dean of the College of Engineering of MSU-IIT. We are sincerely grateful for his invitation and for including the INTACT Base Mindanao Hub programs in his agenda during the engagement with the engineering students.

Beyond discussing his own agenda and scholarship opportunities, the Dean also took the time to introduce, explain, and promote the internationalization programs offered through INTACT Base Mindanao Hub. His support and advocacy greatly contributed to raising awareness among students about opportunities for global learning and academic mobility.

Our heartfelt thanks as well to the Vice Dean of the College of Engineering of Caraga State University and the faculty members for their warm welcome and assistance in gathering the students for this information session.

We look forward to strengthening partnerships and creating more opportunities for students through collaboration and international engagement.
