In honor of Valentineโ€™s Day, the Edstorya team is stepping out from behind the scenes to share something a little more personal. Today, weโ€™re sharing the raw, unedited drafts of our own hearts.

From the sweeping highs of newfound love to the quiet, lingering ache of heartbreak, our staff has poured their collective experiences into a series of poems that prove every ending is just a preamble to a new chapter. We believe that stories arenโ€™t just found in booksโ€”theyโ€™re lived in the spaces between heartbeats and the margins of our most vulnerable moments.

Love, in all its messy, beautiful complexity, is the ultimate storyteller. We hope these words resonate with your own journey, whether you're celebrating a "happily ever after" or finding the strength to turn the page. โœ๏ธ๐ŸŒน

Teacher Education Program joined ISAT U MC's ASEAN Month 2025

Yesterday (August 29, 2025), Education council played a vibrant role in the celebration of ASEAN Month 2025, bringing a touch of beauty and creativity to the festivities. Their participation was particularly highlighted by a captivating display of ASEAN-inspired outfits, transforming the event into a dynamic showcase of cultural appreciation.

Each student's attire was more than just clothing; it was a testament to their research and artistic expression. They're honoring the rich cultural diversity of Southeast Asia by rocking the traditional and inspired outfits of Singapore. Some chose to focus on the traditional garments of different member states, meticulously recreating the intricate patterns and silhouettes. For example, some students sported variations of the Thai Chut Thai, with its elegant silk wraps and sashes, while others embraced the vibrant colors and flowing designs of the Vietnamese รo dร i. The detailed embroidery of the Filipino Barong Tagalog and the elaborate headdresses of the Indonesian Kebaya were also prominently featured, showcasing the rich diversity of the region.
In addition to this, the Teacher Education Program also won several awards at the Cultural Contest, where students and faculties showcased everything from cultural attire to an entertaining variety show.

The awards received are the following:

ASEAN Cultural Attire Contest
Girls:
2nd Place: Education Council
3rd Place: Education Council

Boys:
2nd Place: Education Council

Cultural Variety Show
Faculty and Non-teaching Category:
1st Place: Education Council

Students Category:
1st Place: Education Council

This display of beauty and creativity was a powerful statement from the education students. It showed their commitment to understanding and honoring the cultures of their regional neighbors. By wearing these outfits, they not only celebrated ASEAN's spirit but also engaged in a practical, hands-on form of cultural education, learning about the history, craftsmanship, and symbolism behind each design. Their participation truly added a memorable and visually stunning dimension to the ASEAN Month 2025 celebration.
