The University Gender Center successfully conducted the Gender-Sensitivity Orientation for the newly hired teaching and non-teaching personnel of external campuses, held at the ISAT U Student Services Building, La Paz, Iloilo City. This initiative aims to foster a respectful, inclusive, and gender-fair workplace by raising awareness on gender issues, breaking stereotypes, and promoting equality.

Dr. Emily A. Dela Cruz, former GAD Director, served as a Resource Person on Introduction to Gender and Development, RA 11313 or Safe Spaces Act, and Gender-Fair Language. Through interactive discussions and real-life scenarios, participants learned more about creating a safe and supportive environment for all. This orientation is part of our commitment in upholding human rights and strengthening gender responsiveness in the academe

Together, we move forward in building a culture of respect, empathy, and equity in our institution and community.
