The College of Criminal Justice Education – Program Outcomes Audit (POA) successfully conducted its POA Orientation for Parents and Guardians.

The orientation provided an opportunity for the program to present its agenda, objectives, policies, expectations, curriculum consultation and other important matters, while also giving parents and guardians an opportunity to raise their questions, concerns, and clarifications.

To our dear parents and guardians, thank you for your valuable time, presence, and cooperation. Your support plays an important role in helping our students achieve their goals.

✨ 𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐋 𝐱 𝐂𝐂𝐉𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐂 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐈𝐧

𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐂𝐂𝐉𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐂 gathered for the 𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐋 𝐱 𝐂𝐂𝐉𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐂 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐈𝐧 — a meaningful moment that allowed us to pause, reflect, and look deeper into the purpose behind the responsibilities we have chosen to carry as student leaders.

The session was more than an orientation or a discussion of plans. It became an opportunity for us to reflect on our journey as a council—our strengths, the challenges we may face, and the areas where we still need to grow. Through the guidance and valuable insights shared by 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 we were reminded that leadership is not simply about holding a position or being recognized by a title. It is about listening, understanding, working with others, and remaining committed to serving even when the responsibility becomes challenging.

As we move forward, we carry with us a clearer sense of direction and a renewed commitment to one another. We recognize that meaningful change cannot be achieved by one person alone, but through a council that chooses to communicate, collaborate, and stand together for a common purpose.

This Annual Check-In reminded us that before we can effectively lead others, we must first learn to reflect, realign, and grow together.

With renewed purpose and a stronger sense of unity, the 𝐂𝐂𝐉𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐂 is ready to continue the journey—not only as student leaders, but as one council committed to serving the CCJE community with integrity, purpose, and heart. 💚💛

Dr. Ismael "Sir Maeng" J. Herradura delivered his message during the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA), sharing his insights and experiences from his years of dedicated service to the agency.

He was the former Administrator who continued his commitment to public service and criminology education after retirement by joining the faculty of PHINMA University of Iloilo.

From leading the PPA to shaping the next generation of criminology professionals, Dr. Herradura’s journey reflects a lasting commitment to justice, rehabilitation, and public service.
