BAROTAC NUEVO, Iloilo โ€” Several science, technology, agriculture, fisheries, and mathematics-related undergraduate programs of the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) have been identified as priority degree programs under the Department of Science and Technologyโ€“Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) Undergraduate Scholarships for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

Based on the released list, qualified programs are offered across ISUFSTโ€™s campuses in Tiwi (Main Campus), Poblacion Site, Dumangas, Di**le, Barotac Nuevo, and San Enrique.

Among the priority programs are BS Fisheries, BS Marine Biology, BS Agriculture, BS Information Technology, BSEd Mathematics, and BSEd Science. These programs are aligned with DOST-SEIโ€™s thrust of strengthening the countryโ€™s pool of professionals in science, technology, engineering, agriculture, and mathematics (STEAM)-related fields.

At the Tiwi (Main Campus), the qualified programs include BS Fisheries, BS Marine Biology, BSEd Mathematics, and BSEd Science. Meanwhile, BS Information Technology is offered as a priority program in the Poblacion Site, Barotac Nuevo Campus, Dumangas Campus, Di**le Campus, and San Enrique Campus.

Dumangas, Di**le, and San Enrique campuses also offer priority programs in BSEd Mathematics and BSEd Science, while BS Agriculture is offered in both Di**le and San Enrique campuses.

The inclusion of these programs in the DOST-SEI priority list provides opportunities for qualified students to apply for scholarships that offer tuition support, allowances, and other educational benefits while pursuing studies in high-demand fields crucial to national development.
