This ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€โ€™ ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜†, we honor the educators around the world who continue to teach, inspire and empower despite a system that too often fails to give them the support they deserve. Behind every lesson is a teacher fighting not only ignorance but also the consequences of underfunded classrooms, inadequate resources and policies that fall short of their promises.

The future of a nation is not built by empty promises, but by educated minds, empowered teachers and a government that understands that education is not merely a path to progress. It is the foundation of it.

Happy World Teachersโ€™ Day! May we continue to honor those who teach us to question, think critically and imagine a better world.

Last August 29, the representatives of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, Junior Philippine Association of Management Accountants, and Young Entrepreneurs Society planted approximately 40 fruit-bearing seedlings of various species in Brgy. Badiang, New Lucena, Iloilo. Dubbed "Hiraya: Planting Dreams, Reaping Hope", this activity is one of the current academic year's outreach activities held in connection with the long-standing partnership of the College of Business and Accountancy and Brgy. Badiang.

Present during the tree-planting activity were Brgy. Captain Randy Tolentino and Kagawad Victoria Jucaban, as well as College Outreach Coordinator Prof. Stephen Yuson, Business Administration Department Outreach Coordinator Prof. Ian Jade Lozada and Accountancy Department Outreach Coordinator Prof. Charis Emmelynn Bautista, along with her JPIA co-advisers Dr. Chary Joy Gamayon and Atty. Marc Lovell Bedona.

More than just a great reminder for the Gen Z students to "touch grass", the tree-planting activity remains relevant in helping to offset greenhouse gas emissions, develop diversity of species, and contribute to food security for the people of Brgy. Badiang.
