As heavy rains, thunderstorms, flooding, and possible power outages continue, GITC College reminds everyone to stay alert, prepared, and safe.

Please remember these essential safety measures:

📱 STAY INFORMED – Monitor official weather updates and keep your phones and devices charged.

🏠 STAY SAFE AT HOME – Secure doors and windows, unplug sensitive electronics, and prepare emergency supplies.

🌊 AVOID FLOODWATERS – Never walk, swim, or drive through floodwater. Stay away from downed power lines and other electrical hazards.

⚡ BE PREPARED FOR POWER OUTAGES – Keep flashlights, water, food, and a fully charged power bank ready. Avoid open flames and never use generators or camp stoves indoors.

🎨🤝 A MEANINGFUL GESTURE OF APPRECIATION 🇵🇭🇯🇵

Green International Technological College, in cooperation with our Japanese partner school, proudly donated paint to Iloilo Riverplains Integrated School as a token of our heartfelt appreciation for their unwavering support of our Cross-Cultural Program.

This meaningful contribution reflects the strong partnership we have built through shared learning, cultural exchange, and mutual respect. We are especially grateful to the ever-supportive and dedicated School Principal, Mr. Raymond Peter Tolentino, whose leadership and commitment have been instrumental in the success of this collaboration.

A NEW ACADEMIC YEAR BEGINS at GITC ILOILO! 🎉

Green International Technological College Inc. -Iloilo Campus officially commenced the Academic Year 2026–2027 with its 1st Flag Raising Ceremony, warmly welcoming our freshmen students and newly hired faculty members into the GITC family.

The ceremony was spearheaded by the dynamic and energetic Dean and Director of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management Department, Mr. Efren S. Sucaldito, and was graced by the presence of our President, Ms. Riza M. Cañonero.

As we raise our flag, we also raise our hopes, dreams, and commitment to excellence, leadership, and service. Here's to a year filled with learning, growth, and success!

🎨 Painting Volunteer Activity at Leon High School

On Saturday, July 18, beginning at 9:00 AM, students from Baekseok University of Arts and Korea University of Media Arts visited Leon High School to participate in a painting volunteer activity aimed at improving the school environment.

Working side by side with the students and staff of Leon High School, the volunteers demonstrated the true spirit of teamwork, cooperation, and community service. With the warm support and active participation of the Leon High School students, the activity was successfully completed in a positive and meaningful atmosphere.

More than just painting school facilities, this volunteer program provided a valuable opportunity for Korean and Filipino students to build friendships, exchange cultures, and create lasting memories while serving the local community together.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated and supported this meaningful activity. We look forward to continuing programs that promote friendship, cultural exchange, and the spirit of volunteerism between our two countries.

🎨 레온 하이스쿨 페인팅 봉사활동 실시

7월 18일(토) 오전 9시부터 백석예술대학교 학생들과 한국영상대학교 학생들은 필리핀 **레온 하이스쿨(Leon High School)**을 방문하여 학교 환경 개선을 위한 페인팅 봉사활동을 진행했습니다.

이번 봉사활동은 단순한 시설 보수를 넘어 한국과 필리핀 학생들이 함께 땀 흘리며 협력하고 우정을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 특히 레온 하이스쿨 학생들과 교직원들의 적극적인 협조와 도움으로 더욱 즐겁고 의미 있는 봉사활동을 마칠 수 있었습니다.

학생들은 서로 힘을 모아 학교 곳곳을 새롭게 단장하며 나눔과 봉사의 가치를 직접 실천했고, 언어와 문화를 넘어 함께 웃고 소통하는 소중한 추억을 만들었습니다.

앞으로도 이러한 국제 교류와 봉사활동을 통해 양국 학생들이 함께 성장하며 더 나은 미래를 만들어가길 기대합니다.
