Excellence truly runs in the heart of future educators. The Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAED) of the Education Program once again claimed victory as they were hailed Champion during the 𝗣𝗘 𝗗𝗮𝘆 2025 celebration last 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 25.

This remarkable achievement marks a 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, showcasing not only their talent and creativity but also their dedication, teamwork, and unwavering Eduk spirit. Their outstanding performance stood as a testament to the program’s commitment to holistic development—where learning extends beyond the classroom and passion meets purpose.

Proving that excellence truly runs in CLASE, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐏. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 3-𝐀 and 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐳 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 3-𝐀 proudly brought home the 2𝐧𝐝 and 3𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 titles in the 𝑺𝒕. 𝑨𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 2025, 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 29, 2025, 𝐚𝐭 2:00 𝐏𝐌 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐒𝐀 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦.

Among 16 contestants from various colleges, the two CLASE representatives stood out with their confidence, wit, and brilliance. For their outstanding performance, Villanueva earned a 75% scholarship, while De Arroz secured a 50% scholarship from the university.

The Educators’ Council extends its warmest congratulations to these two dedicated and hardworking students, together with their ever-supportive coach, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗣. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼, for her guidance, dedication, and motherly care. Appreciation is also given to 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻, their assistant coach, for her constant support and mentorship throughout the competition.

On October 18, 2025, the Educators Council, in celebration of the Indigenous People (IP) Month, joined the nation in honoring the culture, identity, and heritage of our Indigenous communities.

Through a series of interactive and meaningful activities such as storytelling, giving of food packs, slippers, snacks, and educational discussions, the council aims to promote a deeper appreciation for the invaluable contributions of Indigenous People to our nation's identity and history.

This event also celebrates the Education Program's 𝐓𝐄𝐍-𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 anniversary with the IP Community of Camangahan, Guimbal—the program's adopted community. This celebration marks a milestone of tradition as the Education Program continues to extend its advocacy for education, inclusivity, and a culturally-aware society—a society that values diversity as a source of unity and love.

Let us continue to listen, learn, and stand in support of our Indigenous brothers and sisters—not just this month, but every day.
