The College of Law Student Commission on Elections (SCOMEL) would like to announce the voter turnout for the SCOMEL 2026-2027 Special Elections! We sincerely extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all students who participated and made their voices heard.

Here's a breakdown of the voter turnout per year level:

1ST YEARS: 113 votes or 73.38%
2ND YEARS: 88 votes or 88.00%
3RD YEARS: 69 votes or 64.49%
4TH YEARS: 99 votes or 71.74%

A GRAND TOTAL of 369 votes were cast, which is 73.85% of the total College of Law student population!

Voting will open on September 7, 2026, at exactly 8:00 AM and will close promptly at 10:00 PM on the same date. No student will be allowed to vote after this period had elapsed.

In case you encounter difficulties voting online, voting via text message will be permitted, provided you comply with the following conditions:

You must explain to your class representative or beadle the reason why you opted to vote via text (e.g., internet connection problems, laptop or gadget malfunction, power interruption, emergency, etc.). Your class beadle must vouch for the truthfulness of your circumstance. Once ascertained, your text message must include your section, student number, and the officers you are voting for.

You must send your message to your corresponding batch representatives, who will then forward it to SCOMEL for tallying.
