The Online Application for the 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗-𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝘆 (𝗧𝗘𝗦) for Academic Year 2026–2027 is 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡!
The Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) is a grant-in-aid program under UniFAST that provides financial assistance to qualified Filipino students by covering the full or partial cost of their tertiary education. It is available to eligible students enrolled in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), CHED-recognized Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), and private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀
✅ SUC & LUC Students: Begins at ₱20,000 per academic year.
✅ Private HEI Students: Begins at ₱27,000 per academic year
✅ Additional Allowances: Extra support is available for qualified Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and board/licensure examination takers.

𝗦𝗣𝗨𝗜 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

St. Paul University Iloilo Basic Education made a strong showing in swimming at the Iloilo PRISAA 2026–2027, securing three podium finishes at Central Philippine University (CPU) on August 15–16.

Leading the Secondary Girls category, Hiede Bon G. Nava of Grade 10, Our Lady of Chartres, captured silver in the 100-meter butterfly stroke and bronze in the 200-meter butterfly stroke.

Meanwhile, Gabrielle Anne V. Majarucon of Grade 12, Our Lady of Peñafrancia, secured bronze in the 200-meter breaststroke, adding another podium finish for the SPUI Basic Education swimming team.

Also representing the school in the competition were Yzekiel Yojann S. Cullo of Grade 7, Our Lady of Lourdes, who participated in the Secondary Boys category, and Greigh Mikelle J. Tuvilla of Grade 4, St. Peter, who competed in Elementary Swimming Boys.

With three podium finishes across the Secondary Girls category, SPUI Basic Education’s swimmers demonstrated their skill and determination in the pool, adding another achievement to the school’s growing presence in Iloilo PRISAA.

From butterfly strokes to breaststroke, the Paulinian swimmers made their mark at the two-day competition, bringing home medals and representing SPUI Basic Education with honor and pride.

Class & Work Suspension Notice – August 18, 2026

Due to heavy rains and flooding brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), St. Paul University Iloilo suspends all face-to-face classes and work for personnel today, August 18, 2026.

• Teaching personnel are advised to continue instruction through the Learning Management System (LMS).

• The DRRM, General Services, and Security Team will ensure safety and conduct post-incident monitoring.

First Athletics Entry, Historic Podium Finishes

ST. PAUL UNIVERSITY ILOILO—BASIC ED. MAKES ATHLETICS DEBUT | St. Paul University Iloilo Basic Education marked its first-ever participation in athletics at the Iloilo PRISAA 2026–2027, earning historic podium finishes as Francine Marie Eligio and Rafael Ed Bernal brought home bronze and silver medals, respectively, at the Iloilo Sports Complex on August 15–16.

Making history in the school’s inaugural athletics delegation, Francine Marie Eligio, representing the Secondary Girls category, secured bronze in the 3,000-meter run, clocking in at 13:43.4 on August 15. She also placed fourth in the 1,500-meter run on August 16.

Meanwhile, Rafael Ed Bernal, competing in the Secondary Boys category, claimed silver in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:49 on August 15.

Also representing the Secondary Boys category, Ethan Adrian Samson Dorado competed in the 400-meter run, finishing as a finalist on August 15.

The podium finishes mark a significant start for SPUI Basic Education’s athletics team, with both the Secondary Boys and Girls categories making their presence felt in the school’s debut.

From their first step onto the PRISAA track to their first medals, the Paulinian athletes have made an immediate mark in SPUI-Basic Education’s athletics history.
