Project Title: My ECO Pledge
Project Description:
My ECO Pledge is one of the international projects to be implemented. This will be under the ECOmpaign program of the Triple ECO Project.
With this project, participants from all over the world can show their own pledge to save Mother Earth when it comes to environmental protection and preservation. They have to submit their photos holding placards-signage with their corresponding pledge. These photos will be uploaded on the Green Team’s official page so that anyone can like and share it to other people.
Rationale:
Nowadays, we can’t deny the fact that our environment had gone too far from the day it was made.
And we had to admit that we, humans, have a great contribution why our world sufferers so hard. This is through some of our eco-hazard activities such as throwing of garbage anywhere, contributing to pollution, denuding the forests, burning plastics, etc.
These lead to climate change, global warming, greenhouse effect, pollution and many more—making Mother Earth suffer. As a result, we are now witnessing the constant melting of polar ice caps and experiencing too much heat, super typhoons and everything that also make us suffer, suffer and suffer. Without hesitation, we are even pointing Mother Earth will all of our fingers as the mastermind for all of what we are experiencing right now.
Mother Earth always sobs and asks us way! But then she promises to lessen the harm she could give us with her only condition—to promise her to love save and protect her.
As the saying goes “Promises are meant to be broken”. But we do really believe that this is not true to all. Especially to those promises to someone who really needs our help—help that is beneficial not only to one but to everyone. And this someone is no other than our Mother Earth.
Today, Mother Earth needs our help—our very genuine help that could restore the beauty and maintain the abundance of our nature. She wanted to hear our pledge and is very excited to see what we could be done to save her. With these, we wanted to solicit everyone’s pledge and we came up to this project—My ECO Pledge.
Project Implementation:
Everyone is invited to join in the project. All they have to do is to send their own photo holding a placard/signage with their own ECO pledge.
The guidelines to join are as follows.
• Everyone who is interested all over the world is cordially invited.
• Photos should show the model or a person holding a placard/signage containing the words “My ECO Pledge” and his/her promise to protect our environment in not more than fifteen (15) words using English language.
• Words should be written legibly using any type of pen. These must be readable on the photo.
• Placard/signage’s size is free of choice.
• Shirtless photos may be considered. Pictures with only underwear, naked pictures, and other pictures deemed overly sexual are not allowed.
• Photos may be sent through our email address: [email protected]. Senders should use “My ECO Pledge” as the subject. They may include their names and country where they live for photo credits.
• As soon as the photo is sent, the sender permits and gives the organization the right to post and spread their photos especially in social media.
