ISA Conducts Fire Drill to Strengthen Emergency Preparedness
Iloilo Scholastic Academy conducted a fire drill on August 5, 2026, to train learners, facilitators, and staff on proper evacuation procedures during emergencies.
The drill began with the sounding of the alarm, prompting learners to leave their classrooms in an orderly manner and proceed to the parking lot, the designated evacuation area. Facilitators guided their respective classes throughout the evacuation, ensuring that everyone followed the established safety protocols.
The drill also provided school personnel with an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of the school’s emergency procedures and identify areas for improvement.
This activity is one of several emergency drills that ISA conducts throughout the school year, reflecting the school’s continuing efforts to promote safety and preparedness within its community.
Through regular emergency exercises, learners and personnel become more familiar with the appropriate actions to take in the event of an actual emergency. Although emergencies are often unexpected, regular practice helps ISAers and staff remain prepared and know what to do when it matters most.
