CONGRATULATIONS!!! ICC Rosario Tesda Scholar Mariane Ibasco for Passing the "Newly Calibrated" BOOKKEEPING (BKP) National Certicate 3 (NC3) Assessment Exams last August 5, 2022 at the ICC Bookkeeping NC3 Assessment Center in Carmona, Cavite. The "Newly Calibrated" BOOKKEEPING National Certicate 3 Assessment Exams made the exams difficult and hard to pass. Mariane Ibasco is only the second student, scholar and exam taker, in NCR and Region 4A, to EVER PASS the BKP NC3 exams. The first passer was ICC GMA Tesda Scholar Debbie Mae Catimbang.

Once again CONGRATULATIONS!!! Mariane, the entire ICC Community is PROUD of you.

***ICC-TESDA SCHOLARSHIP UPDATES***
ICC @ TESDA Trainers Orientation on New Scholarship Monitoring System

ICC, represented by ICC Carmona Branch coordinator Mrs. Maryjane Loyola, participated in the TESDA Trainer's Seminar on the new TESDA Scholarship Monitoring System last May 20, 2022 via Zoom. The new Tesda Scholarship monitoring system is called Biometric-enabled Scholarship Registration System or BSRS.

The following were the speakers during the event:
1. Sec. Isidro Lapeña, TESDA Director General. He gave the Welcome Address.
2. Mr. Stephen Paul Andoyo - Computer Maintenance Technologist. He presented Consolidated Issues & Concerns about the BSRS.
3. Ms. Angelina M. Carreon - TESDA Executive Director. She presented the Revised Policies on the Implementation of BSRS.
4. TESDA Deputy Director General Lina Sarmiento.She gave the Closing Remarks.

The new TESDA Scholarship Monitoring Systems seeks to improve the monitoring of attendance of TESDA scholars to avoid ghost-scholars and scholars who are not committed to attending the scholarship training.

TESDA Grants ICC Carmona Training for Work SCHOLARSHIP (TWSP) For Computer Systems Servicing NC2

TESDA recently granted ICC Carmona with Training for Work scholarships (TWSP) for students interested to study Computer Systems Servicing (CSS) National Certificate 2 (NC2). There are 25 slots for ICC Carmona CSS NC2 training.

If selected, the Bookkeeping training program is a full scholarship (no tuition) course and will be conducted online (there will be instances where face to face classes will be scheduled to prepare the students for the BKP assessment exams). The time frame is 37 days (292 hours), the training is usually whole day but the trainer can assign asynchrounous training (you can do it on your own time) on some parts.

All selected trainees will have a daily allowance of 160 plus pesos a day. Tesda validates or checks all the scholars, it is Tesda that pays for everything, ICC just manages the training program. We have to give TESDA the list of ICC Carmona NC2 scholars before the start of training. The start of training will depend on how fast we could finalized the list of 25 scholars.

The scholarship program includes a free computer systems servicing national certificate level 2 competency assessment exam. All trainees must take the competency assessment exam at the end of the course.

Distribution of Scholarship Allowance for ICC-Tesda TWSP ICC Carmona Scholars.

ICC Carmona scholars recently received their training allowance at the TESDA Cavite Provincial Office, Trece Martires City. Aside from the training that students receive for being part of the ICC-Tesda “Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP)”, those who are committed to finishing the scholarship program also receive cash allowance.

Opening Ceremonies of ICC-Tesda “Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP)” Bookkeeping NC3 for ICC Rosario.

The ICC Rosario Bookkeeping NC3 Scholarship Program finally started, after being delayed by government red-tape, last March 3,2022. Tesda Cavite Focal for Scholarships Ms Melissa Ruazol conducted the Training Induction Program (TIP). The aim of the training induction program is to inform the scholars about the importance of the training program in providing opportunities and skills important for employment.

The Bookkeeping NC3 training will be handled by Dr Alicia Bañas. She is a Tesda Certified Trainor and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She likewise has a PhD in Development Education and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

The administrative & support tasks of the scholarship training is handled by ICC Administrative Coordinator Mrs Jane Raymundo.
