MS2 ELEVENTH AND TWELFTH TRAINING DAY

PREPARATION FOR UNIT TACTICAL ASSESSMENT AND INSPECTION

On 24 May 2026, the CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 11th and 12th Training Day via Google Meet.

The training day commenced with the checking of attendance and proper bearing of cadets led by C/CPT JOY ANN D ESPARAGOZA 2CL, S1 Adjutant Officer, together with C/CPT FRANZ JASPER C WONG 2CL, Alpha Company Commander, with a total strength of seventy-seven (77) Cadets, composed of twenty-seven (27) males, forty-six (46) females, and four (4) 3CL Cadets.

Formally started with a short reminder for the finals was led by C/COL MARIONE MARGARET P FRONDA 1CL, Corps Commander, followed by a discussion led by C/MAJ RHONPERNY GABRIELLE V PABON 1CL for the drillings, along with a demonstration of rifle drills performed by C/CPT FRANCIS ADRIAN P DELIGERO 2CL. The meeting was also conducted for each Platoon for preparation for the upcoming finals.

Afterwards, it resumed with simultaneous discussions in each category in preparation for the Unit Tactical Assessment and Inspection. The Comprehensive Exam category was led by C/LTC EUNICE ANNE I REYES 1CL, while Basic Rifle Marksmanship was discussed by C/MAJ SACHI SOPHIA D NIPAY 1CL. Basic Signal Communication was led by C/MAJ JOSEBEL T OBIADO 1CL, Knot Tying by C/CRISTINE PEARL J BELER 1CL, Map Reading by C/MAJ AUBREY MAE P GUANZON 1CL, and Basic First Aid and Bandaging by C/MAJ JOIE MARIE LOUISE V RODILLO 1CL.

The activity was led by Sgt Angelica Alliah Joyce Parro PA (Res), together with two (2) Training Staff, nine (9) 1CL Cadet Officers, four (4) 2CL Cadet Officers, and four (4) 3CL Cadets.

‎This activity was monitored by LTC ROY E CASTRONUEVO QMS PA (RES), Commandant of CvSU–Imus ROTCU.

"Success is focusing the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve."

‎The Cavite State University Games 2026, held at the Cavite State University Indang Campus, served as a grand celebration of sportsmanship, unity, and athletic excellence. The university-wide event brought together talented participants from the 11 satellite campuses of CvSU, creating an atmosphere filled with camaraderie, determination, and school pride.

Among the participating campuses, Cavite State University–Imus Campus proudly emerged as the overall 2nd runner-up in the University Games 2026, showcasing remarkable performance and teamwork throughout the event. Furthermore, the CvSU–Imus ROTCU Cadet Officers and Cadets actively took part in the different activities and competitions during U-GAMES 2026. Throughout the event, they displayed exceptional discipline, unity, enthusiasm, and determination, proving not only their physical capabilities but also their strong sense of responsibility and commitment as cadets.

To all the athlete cadets, your passion, dedication, and perseverance have truly inspired the entire CvSU community. Your unwavering commitment and positive attitude left a lasting impression on everyone who witnessed your journey. On 16 May 2026, the CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit successfully maintained peace and order on duty during the National Journalism Seminar 2026 held at Cavite State University – Imus Campus Gymnasium.

The CVSU Imus ROTC unit assisted and guided the students upon entering the venue and in arranging the booths. The program formally started with an opening prayer, followed by a performance of the Sinagtala Performing Arts Group and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

The Opening remarks from Leslie Anne N. Gatdula, Program Coordinator and Instructor, were followed by the presentation of the researchers.

Followed by the opening of the Journalism Seminar, along with insightful messages and discussion from guest speakers Bam Alegre, Senior News Correspondent and News Anchor of GMA Integrated News; Sir Anjo Bagaoisan, ABS-CBN reporter and journalist; and Ian Suyu, Reporter and News Anchor of News5.

The discussion served as motivation for aspiring journalists to pursue truth and integrity in the field. The seminar concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, leaving participants motivated and empowered.

The CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit remains committed to serving with discipline, professionalism, and excellence in every undertaking.

‎The CvSU-Imus ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Physical Fitness Test for Military Science 1 and 2 at Cavite State University-Imus Campus.

‎The activities tested not just physical ability but also will. Despite the difficulty, the cadets pushed through and gave their strengths out of limitations. They proved that progress starts with determination and power to move forward.

‎Cadets stand out, showing that improvement comes from hard work and not giving up. They challenged themselves to show their strength, endurance, and discipline. They show that dedication and perseverance truly show what it means to be an ROTC cadet.

On this day, 01 May 2026, the CvSU-Imus ROTCU joins the nation in honoring the hardworking Filipino people, whose dedication and perseverance continue to drive success.

‎As declared in President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Proclamation No. 727, Labor Day is a regular holiday. We recognize the invaluable contributions of Filipino workers across all sectors, who serve with integrity, resilience, and commitment despite daily challenges. Their efforts served as the backbone of our nation’s growth and development, embodying the true spirit of service and sacrifice.

As we celebrate this day, may we be reminded of the dignity of labor and the importance of unity, fairness, and respect in every workplace. Let us continue to support and uplift one another as we strive for a more just and progressive society.

On 30 April 2026, the CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit successfully executed the Entrance of Colors and maintained the peace and order during the First Semester Recognition for Academic Year 2025–2026, held at the Cavite State University–Imus Campus Gymnasium.

The activity commenced with the registration of students and parents, assisted by the Cadet Officers and 3CL Cadets. Followed by the formal opening of the program, facilitated by the CvSU - Imus Honor Society Officers, along with the Doxology performance by the Sinag Tala Performing Arts Group.

Subsequently, the Entrance of Colors was executed, led by C/CPT JAMAILA S DELGADO 2CL, Color Commander, together with two (2) 2CL Cadet Officers and two (2) 3CL Cadets. Followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. The Opening Remarks were delivered by Ms. Milagros P. Viado, CIHS Adviser.

The program continued with the Special Awards Presentation, followed by an intermission number performed by the Sinag Tala Performing Arts Group. This was succeeded by an Inspirational Message delivered by Ms. Vejie M. Lavendia, an alumna of CvSU–Imus Campus.

Moreover, the ceremony proceeded with the Academic Achievers Recognition for Batch 1 and Batch 2, highlighting the outstanding performance of students across various academic programs. The program also featured a special performance by Sinag Tala and an Inspirational Message delivered by Atty. Chel Diokno, followed by an engaging question and answer opportunity with the students.

The event concluded with the Closing Remarks delivered by Ms. Shine Honey Girl V. Villagonza, President of the Honor Society, followed by the singing of the CvSU Hymn, a photo opportunity, denouement, and clean-up activity.

The activity was led by C/CPT FRANCIS ADRIAN P DELIGERO 2CL, S3 Field Operation Officer, together with three (3) 2CL Cadet Officers and four (4) 3CL Cadets.

This activity was supervised by LTC ROY E CASTRONUEVO QMS PA (Res), Commandant of the CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit.
