📌 Online Payment for the Application Fee of the Doctor of Medicine Program at Cavite State University College of Medicine

Please be informed that applicants to the Doctor of Medicine program may opt to pay the application fee online. Kindly refer to the attached image for detailed instructions on how to make the online payment.

Please note that applicants are still required to upload the proof of payment in the online application form. Additionally, the official receipt issued by the CvSU Cashier's Office must be obtained and submitted once you are qualified and invited for an interview at the College of Medicine.

University Games 2024: College of Medicine Athletes Shine in Their Debut

The University Games 2024 marked a historic moment for the College of Medicine, as it was the first time the college participated in the prestigious event. Despite being newcomers, the athletes from the College of Medicine made a powerful impression, earning medals in table tennis and archery, and bringing pride to their institution.

Al Einstein Salloman: Gold in Table Tennis Singles A

Representing the College of Medicine, Al Einstein Salloman delivered a stellar performance in the Table Tennis Singles A category, earning the gold medal. Salloman's journey through the tournament was a masterclass in precision, agility, and mental fortitude. His powerful serves and strategic ball placement left his opponents struggling to keep up.

In a gripping final match, Salloman showcased his mastery of the game, defeating a highly skilled opponent to secure first place. His win not only earned him personal glory but also highlighted the College of Medicine’s growing presence in university sports.

Carl Obenza and Chester Castañarez: Silver in Archery 18m Doubles

In the Archery 18m Doubles, the duo of Carl Obenza and Chester Castañarez, also representing the College of Medicine, proved their mettle by taking home the silver medal. Their teamwork, precision, and focus made them one of the top pairs in the competition.

Throughout the event, Obenza and Castañarez demonstrated exceptional coordination and calm under pressure, consistently delivering high-scoring shots that led them to the finals. Despite facing stiff competition, the duo remained composed and finished with an impressive silver medal.

Chester Castañarez’s Bronze in Archery 18m Singles

In addition to his performance in the doubles, Chester Castañarez also excelled in the Archery 18m Singles event, securing a bronze medal. His consistent form and sharp accuracy set him apart from the competition, earning him his second medal of the games. Castañarez’s double-medal feat made him one of the most celebrated athletes from the College of Medicine.

A Remarkable Debut and Heartfelt Gratitude

The University Games 2024 will go down in history as a milestone for the College of Medicine. In celebration of Medicine Week (September 22-28, 2024) and Kalikasan Day (October 1, 2024), the Cavite State University-College of Medicine (CvSU-COM) organized a two-phase tree-planting activity at the President's Lot. This initiative embodied the principles of "One Health, One Welfare, One Environment," emphasizing the essential connection between human health, the well-being of all living beings, and environmental protection.

𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟏: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭'𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐭

The first phase, held on September 27, 2024, focused on the preparation of the President's Lot for planting. The CvSU College of Criminal Justice Emergency Response and Airsoft Team (CERAT), led by Mr. Victor P. Mendoza and Mr. Jose Alberto Morena, alongside 30 dedicated volunteer members, worked diligently to clear the area and dig 50 holes for the seedlings. This phase represented the teamwork and commitment required to ensure the success of the tree-planting activity, showcasing the university's unity and gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the environment and its legacy.

𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟐: 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 "𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭"

On October 1, 2024, the second phase of the tree-planting took place. In this phase, 145 medical students from CvSU-COM were joined by five members of the Manila Medical Society (MMS), including Dr. David Pinto, Dr. Ariel Paredes, Ms. Charmaine Bruto, Ms. Mary Grace Peñaranda, and Ms. Jezzalore De Santos. Together, they planted 50 Kaong (sugar palm) seedlings at the President's Lot.

The Kaong seedlings were generously donated by the Sugar Palm Research, Information, and Trade (SPRINT) Center, under the leadership of Prof. Edgardo A. Gonzales. The seedlings symbolize not only the university's dedication to preserving local biodiversity but also its overarching goal of promoting environmental health. This initiative highlights the core principle of "One Health, One Welfare, One Environment," acknowledging the intricate relationship between the health of humans, animals, and the ecosystem.

𝐀 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

This tree-planting event demonstrates CvSU's belief in the inseparable connection between planetary health and the well-being of its inhabitants. Through the collaborative efforts of CvSU-COM, CERAT, SPRINT, and MMS, the activity at the President's Lot planted seeds of sustainability and future health. The initiative emphasizes the importance of the One Health approach, which fosters the idea that caring for the environment means caring for all living beings.
