Meanwhile, pursuant to the announcement from Malacañang, government offices shall implement Alternative Work Arrangements (AWA).

Cavite State University (CvSU) produced 22 new licensed Food Technologists in the August 2026 Professional Food Technologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination.

CvSU achieved an overall passing rate of 68.75% (22 out of 32), surpassing the national passing rate of 66.32%. Adding distinction to this achievement, Adelene Moreno Olarve secured the eighth place nationwide with an outstanding 88% rating.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, a total of 705 out of 1,063 examinees (66.32%) passed the said licensure examination given by the Board of Food Technology in N. C. R., Baguio, Cagayan de Oro,Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

In view of the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and pursuant to Presidential Communications Office Memorandum Circular No. 127, alternative learning modes shall be implemented for classes at all levels in Cavite effective 12:00 PM today, August 17, 2026.

Accordingly, face-to-face classes shall be suspended, with student advised to follow the alternative learning arrangements and instructions to be issued by the respective instructors and the University.

All Carababies are encouraged to prioritize their safety. avoid unnecessary travel, and remain updated through official announcements as weather conditions continue to develop.

𝗖𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗥 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

The College of Agriculture, Food, Environment, and Natural Resources (CAFENR) warmly welcomed its first-year students through a College Orientation held on August 12, 2026, from 2:00-5:30 p.m. at the University Quadrangle.

The orientation introduced the first-year students from the BS Agriculture, B Agricultural Entrepreneurship, BS Environmental Science, and BS Food Technology programs to the College's officials, faculty, and staff from its various departments. It also provided an overview of important college policies, academic guidelines, and student services to help the newest members of the CAFENR community begin their journey in the University.

Adding to the warm welcome were CAFENR's student organizations: CAFENR Student Council, Paddock Society, Matayuyon Crop Science Society, Punlaan Community , 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗜 - 𝗖𝘃𝗦𝗨 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and PAFT - Cavite State University Chapter - formerly D'Glycans, which prepared freebies and fun activities in their respective booths.
