CvSU Don Severino De Las Alas Campus Alumni Association, Inc. Held Induction of Officers at International Convention Center (ICON)

January 28, 2026 — The newly elected officers of the CvSU DSAC Alumni Association, Inc. (Main Campus) formally took their oath of office during the Induction of Officers held at ICON.

The induction ceremony was officiated by Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, President of Cavite State University, who administered the oath to the newly elected officers of the association. The event marked the official start of their term and reaffirmed their commitment to serving their fellow alumni and supporting the University's vision and mission.

The important role of alumni in strengthening the University's programs and initiatives was emphasized. The new officers were encouraged to lead the alumni with integrity, dedication, and a spirit of volunteerism while fostering stronger connections among graduates and promoting meaningful engagement with the University.

The ceremony brought together the new Alumni Officers, University officials, and invited guests in a celebration of leadership, unity, and service. It also highlighted the continuing partnership between Cavite State University and its alumni in advancing programs that benefit both the University and the wider community. The induction of officers signified a renewed commitment from the CvSU DSAC Alumni Association, Inc. (Main Campus) to uphold the values of Cavite State University and to work collaboratively in strengthening alumni involvement through various projects, activities, and community engagements.

As the newly inducted officers begin their term, their first meeting was conducted at the Conference Room of Bahay ng Alumni, right after the Oath Taking Ceremony, which commenced at around 2:40 P.M. They are focused to lead initiatives that will further promote alumni solidarity, professional growth, and lasting support for the University, ensuring that the spirit of being a proud Cavite State University alumnus continues to thrive.

Election of Officers for the CvSU Don Severino De Las Alas Campus Alumni Association, Inc. (CvSUAAI) 2026-2028

On January 26, 2026, at 9:00 A.M., an assembly was convened at the Conference Room of Bahay ng Alumni. The gathering brought together the officers who had been formally selected during the CvSU Grand Alumni Homecoming (DSAC/Main Campus) held at the International Convention Center (ICON), on December 13, 2025.

With the presence of Dr. Roderick M. Rupido, Director for Alumni Affairs, the Election Proceeding was conducted in a very traditional and transparent way. Immediate Past President, Dr. Julio G. Alava, had chaired the session which adds legitimacy, since he served as a neutral facilitator. In-person paper ballot was utilized to ensure that every vote is tangible. Open tallying was immediately applied thereby preventing suspicion of manipulation and reinforcing trust in the process.

This activity serves as an important step in strengthening alumni representation and participation in the affairs of the Association. Cavite State University recognizes the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our examinees as we achieved a 57.58% overall performance rating in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE).

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, a total of 3,004 out of 9,737 (30.85%) passed the CPALE given by the Board of Accountancy in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga in May 2026.
