𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟐 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐯𝐒𝐔-𝐂𝐂𝐀𝐓 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬

Cavite State University – CCAT Campus successfully conducted the orientation entitled “Enhancing Institutional Compliance through Orientation on STRIDE 2032, Research, Extension, and Knowledge Management Process Flows” at the CvSU-CCAT Hostel.

The activity aimed to provide faculty members with a comprehensive discussion of the institutional process flows governing research, extension, and knowledge management activities.

Dr. Racquel G. Agustin, Director of the Extension Services Center, and Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Division, discussed the Extension Process, providing participants with relevant information on the procedures and processes involved in the implementation and monitoring of extension activities.

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: The Cavite State University – Extension Services Center (ESC) conducted a Client Satisfaction Survey among the beneficiaries of the Go-Gulay Project on September 13, 2026, in BF Homes, Parañaque City.

The survey was facilitated by Ms. Nancy M. Eugenio and Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, with eleven (11) beneficiaries who willingly participated and shared their experiences, insights, and feedback about the project.

The survey aimed to assess the quality, relevance, and sustainability of the Go-Gulay Project and to determine how it has contributed to the beneficiaries’ lives. Their valuable feedback also provided insights into areas for improvement and recommendations that may help further strengthen and enhance the project’s implementation and impact.

Through this survey, it leads the pathway to ensure that extension programs remain responsive, relevant, and sustainable, creating meaningful and lasting benefits for the communities.

Students from Korea and Malaysia enjoyed freshly picked rambutans during their tour in the techno-demo farm. Agricultural products from partner communities in the province and from CvSU research were also showcased as part of the tour. Agricultural technology demonstrations including the aquaculture ponds, dragon fruit production, greenhouse and different crop modules were also featured on their route.

These kinds of tours help promote of our local agricultural products and technologies and provide opportunities to our visitors to experience and appreciate innovations in Philippine agriculture.

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: The 3rd Module and 2nd Workshop of the Go-Gulay: Cultivating Food Security and Urban Sustainability project, entitled “Masustansyang Pastries at Cakes na may Gulay Para sa Pang-pamilyang Kalusugan at Kabuhayan,” was successfully conducted on September 13, 2026 at the Presentation of the Child Jesus Parish (PCJP), BF Homes, Parañaque City.

The hands-on baking workshop featured the preparation of Banana Loaf and Carrot Cake, facilitated by Dr. Patrick Glenn G. Ilano, while Ms. Elma Esteban shared valuable knowledge on food processing and value addition—equipping participants with practical skills that can contribute to healthier families and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The activity was supported by the CvSU Extension Services Center, led by Dr. Racquel G. Agustin, Director, together with Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, University Extension Specialist II, and ESC staff Ms. Nancy M. Eugenio, Ms. Razelle A. Astudillo, and Mr. Wilson S. Sangalang.
The Presentation of the Child Jesus Parish was represented by Mr. Raul Anonuevo, COSHP Head; Ms. Virginia Cabrera, BEC Head; and Mr. Alberto Dacuycoy, alongside 12 seminar-workshop participants from the Pechayan, Target, and Lagoon Communities.

Beyond baking, the workshop fostered knowledge-sharing, healthy food practices, and livelihood development, demonstrating how vegetables can be transformed into nutritious and potentially income-generating food products.
