The 3-Day Orientation and Writeshop on the Contingency Plan Formulation of Cavite State University has been successfully concluded!

For three productive days (March 4-6, 2026), participants collaborated, analyzed risks, developed scenarios, and crafted strategic goals and action steps to strengthen campus preparedness—with the valuable guidance and support of the Cavite Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

This milestone reflects CvSU’s unified commitment to safety, resilience, and proactive planning.

For its Ways Forward, CvSU will finalize the Contingency Plan and proceed with its structured implementation across campuses, ensuring that preparedness efforts translate into concrete action.

Together, we build a safer, stronger, and more resilient CvSU community.

Day 2 of the Contingency Plan Formulation Writeshop at Cavite State University was both intensive and productive!

Today’s sessions focused on hazard analysis, understanding the anatomy of hazards, developing realistic scenarios, and crafting clear goals and objectives. Participants were tasked to identify their top 1 hazard and begin drafting specific action plans to address it.

Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and shared commitment to preparedness continue to drive this initiative forward.

Day 1 successfully kicked off the 3-Day Orientation and Writeshop on the Contingency Plan Formulation of Cavite State University!

The Orientation on Security and Contract Management for the Designated Civil Security Officers of Cavite State University was successfully conducted on February 24, 2026 at International House II.

The activity brought together designated college, campus and office representatives to strengthen their knowledge on security operations, contract management, and industry best practices. Participants actively engaged in discussions and learning sessions led by distinguished resource speakers who are well known in the security industry, providing valuable insights drawn from real-world experience.

This initiative reflects CvSU’s continuous effort to uphold the highest standards of security services, ensuring safe and resilient campuses in support of the University’s strategic direction under CvSU ASCEND. Through capacity building and professional development, the University remains committed to excellence in campus safety and service delivery.

🌟UCSS and BaRG Conduct Consultation Meeting with Indang TODA Presidents🌟

The University Civil Security Services (UCSS), in coordination with the Business and Resource Generation Office (BaRG), successfully conducted a consultation meeting with the Presidents of the various Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) of Indang last January 30, 2026.

The meeting aimed to strengthen partnership, ensure campus safety, and align traffic management policies between Cavite State University (CvSU) and the TODA community.

Key Matters Discussed:

📌1. CvSU Traffic Management Policy: UCSS presented the updated traffic management guidelines being strictly implemented inside the university to maintain order, safety, and smooth vehicular flow.

📌2. “No Sticker, No Entry” Policy: It was emphasized that only vehicles with authorized university stickers are allowed entry. This policy helps regulate vehicles entering the campus and enhances security monitoring.

📌3. Drop-Off Policy: Tricycle drivers were reminded that entry is strictly for drop-off purposes only. Parking and waiting inside the campus are not allowed unless authorized.

📌4. Traffic Violations and Penalties: Traffic violations were clearly discussed, some of which are:
• Over-speeding
• Unauthorized parking
• Loading and unloading outside designated areas
• Obstruction of traffic flow

Corresponding penalties for each violation were explained to ensure fairness, discipline, and accountability.

📌5. Designated Loading and Unloading Areas: Specific loading and unloading zones were identified to prevent congestion and ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff.

📌6. Personal Grooming and Proper Uniform/Appearance: The importance of professionalism was emphasized. Drivers are expected to:
• Wear proper TODA uniform and identification
• Maintain proper grooming and decent appearance
• Observe respectful conduct toward passengers and university personnel

This promotes safety, discipline, and a positive image of the TODA community.

The consultation meeting was conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. All TODA Presidents expressed their support and agreement with the university’s policies and committed to disseminate the guidelines to their respective members.
