There is no doubt that research is one of the pillars of education, alongside instruction and community services. Through research, we can gather new knowledge and information for the enhancement of intellectual understanding and guide in decision-making abilities. The Colegio’s efforts in research are focused on the Intramuros Studies and the different research undertakings by the Letran communit

-Push the frontiers of knowledge across the identified higher education disciplines in the country;
-Enhance the research capability of the members of the institution;

Held at Universitas Andalas in Padang, Indonesia, from July 14–15, 2026, these outstanding student-researchers were the only Filipinos to present their papers at the international conference, showcasing true Letranite academic excellence on the global stage.

LOOK | The Research and Publication Department successfully conducted the 6th Arriba Employee Research Symposium on July 24, 2026, at St. Thomas Hall.

The annual symposium brought together faculty and staff grantees under the Project-Based Research Grant to share their completed research outputs with the Letran academic community. The activity served as a platform for scholarly exchange, knowledge sharing, and the dissemination of research generated through the Colegio’s research initiatives.

Through the symposium, participants were provided with an avenue to communicate their research findings, engage in academic exchange, and contribute to the continuing development of a vibrant research culture within the Colegio. The activity also reinforced the importance of disseminating research outputs through scholarly fora and institutional research activities.

As part of the Colegio’s continuing commitment to research excellence, knowledge generation, and academic collaboration, the 6th Arriba Employee Research Symposium advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 13 – Climate Action, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.

LOOK: The Office for Innovation, Research, Planning and Quality Assurance, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, successfully conducted the π’πžπ¦π’π§πšπ«-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐀𝐬𝐑𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐑𝐞 πƒπžπ₯𝐒𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐒𝐝 π“πžπšπœπ‘π’π§π -π‹πžπšπ«π§π’π§π  𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐚π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 on July 16–17, 2026, at St. Thomas Hall.

Held in line with the findings and recommendations of the commissioned research entitled Hybrid Learning Modality in Letran Manila: Basis for Strategic Educational Policy Development, the seminar-workshop brought together academic heads, chairpersons, faculty members, concerned administrative offices, and technical support personnel to translate research findings into concrete institutional actions for the effective implementation of hybrid learning across the Colegio.

Participants engaged in collaborative discussions and workshop sessions focused on orienting stakeholders to the study's research-based recommendations, developing operational guidelines and quality assurance mechanisms for hybrid learning delivery, identifying the roles and responsibilities of concerned offices alongside monitoring indicators, and formulating implementation strategies that foster meaningful student engagement, manageable learning workloads, effective collaboration, and timely technical support.

As part of the Colegio's continuing commitment to evidence-based educational policy development, quality assurance, and innovative teaching and learning, this initiative also advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
