Research and Publication Department The RPD is responsible in providing quality researches and publication to students and employees

There is no doubt that research is one of the pillars of education, alongside instruction and community services. Through research, we can gather new knowledge and information for the enhancement of intellectual understanding and guide in decision-making abilities. The Colegioโ€™s efforts in research are focused on the Intramuros Studies and the different research undertakings by the Letran communit

-Push the frontiers of knowledge across the identified higher education disciplines in the country;
-Enhance the research capability of the members of the institution;
-Provide accurate and updated information to academic departments regarding responsive and relevant program of studies;

IN PHOTOS: Colegio de San Juan de Letran Manila participated in the 4th Philippine International Tourism and Hospitality Research Conference (PITH-ReCon 2026), held from April 22โ€“24, 2026, in collaboration with the University of Santo Tomas College of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Intramuros Administration. The conference convened academic and industry leaders to advance discourse on sustainable transformation and innovation in tourism and hospitality.
The opening was led by Rev. Fr. Raymund Fernando P. Jose, O.P., Rector and President, followed by a message from Dr. Eric B. Zerrudo of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Keynote sessions featured Ms. Catherine C. Agustin of the Department of Tourismโ€“NCR, Assoc. Prof. Ada Lo of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Nisha Abu Bakar of World Women Tourism, and Hon. Faustino โ€œInnoโ€ A. Dy, National President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines.

RESEARCH | Day 1 of the 14th Likhang Arriba: The Student Research Colloquium 2026 was successfully held last April 17, 2026, bringing together student researchers in a celebration of innovation, sustainability, and academic excellence.

With an inspiring keynote from Asst. Prof. Melvin E. Bernardino, RND, MSCN, the event highlighted the role of research in shaping globally engaged and socially responsive solutions.

Congratulations to our Best Presenters for their outstanding research and presentations.
