The session featured Ms. Jannelle DL. Sallena, Rank 4 โ€“ Ten Outstanding Students of Bicol 2026, as the Guest Speaker. Through this engaging and meaningful session, our young leaders were encouraged to recognize the power of clear communication, cooperation, active listening, and teamwork in becoming effective student leaders. The session reminded our Class Council Officers that leadership is not achieved aloneโ€”it flourishes when we listen to one another, work together, and unite toward a common goal.

The session was led by Ms. Angela M. Olayon, Grade 1-Love Buddy Adviser, who inspired our young leaders to understand that true leadership goes beyond holding a positionโ€”it is about having a clear purpose, serving others, making responsible choices, and leading with compassion and integrity. Through this meaningful session, our Class Council Officers were encouraged to become leaders who inspire, serve, and make a positive difference in their school community.

With the theme โ€œEmpowering Young Leaders for a Brighter and Transformative Future,โ€ the Young Leaders Camp 2026 provided our Class Council Officers (CCOs) with meaningful opportunities to develop their leadership potential, strengthen their sense of responsibility, and enhance their capacity to serve as role models within the school community.

Session 1:โ€œKnow Your Role: Understanding the Duties and Responsibilities of Class Council Officersโ€

Our young leaders were guided by Mr. Jay-R P. Meรฑolas, the SELG Moderator, and facilitated by the SELG Officers. The session emphasized the importance of knowing oneโ€™s role, embracing responsibilities, and leading with commitment, purpose, and a genuine heart to serve.
