MSU-Sulu Criminology Students Completes 3-Days Water Survival Training.

In collaboration with the Sulu Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), led by Mr. Conrad Agpangan, the College of Criminal Justice Education conducted a 3-day water survival training participated in by Batch Bagong Sinag, Class of 2028. The event was held on November 4โ€“6, 2025 for the first batch and November 12โ€“14, 2025 for the second batch.

During the three-day training, students began the first day with warm-up exercises, followed by breath-holding practice, swimming techniques, and a 400-meter swim test. The second day included the same warm-up, knot-tying, and a 600-meter swim test. On the final day, students completed a one-minute breath-holding exercise and a one-mile swim test.

The event ended with a short but meaningful program attended by Criminology faculty and the PDRRMO team. Certificates and tokens of appreciation were awarded to our WASAR partners.

MSU-Sulu, College of Criminal Justice Education in partnership with 54th Special Action Company, 5SAB conducts Turnover Ceremony of the Criminology Interns.

In collaboration with 54th Special Action Company, 5SAB, Camp PSSupt. Julasirim A. Kasim, on November 24, 2025 a turn over ceremony was conducted at MSU-Sulu open field with a theme: โ€œCriminology Interns: Upholding Quality and Excellence in Serving Societyโ€. The event marked the culmination of 15 working days of internship for Batch Lagablab.

The ceremony begins with the entrance of the Sinag-Alab Colors followed by inspiring messages from the Intern Coordinator,

Day 2 afternoon commence with students and faculty members of the college once again gathered at the university gymnasium for a socialization program. The event commenced with a series of intermission performances presented by the four competing teams, filling the venue with enthusiasm and school spirit.

As the program progressed, the participants actively took part in various parlor games, fostering camaraderie and shared enjoyment among the students. To conclude the socialization segment, a run-walk was held for selected individuals who showcased their best outfits, adding a touch of creativity and fun to the event.

The two-day celebration officially concluded with the closing Remarks delivered by ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐จ๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐€๐ฅ๐ข๐ก ๐’. ๐‡๐š๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฆ, ๐‘๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ, formally marking the end of the 2nd Criminology Profession Week.

Day 2 kicked off with an exciting basketball match between the female students of the college as they competed against each other. This was followed by an exhibition game between the ๐‚๐‚๐‰๐„ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ƒ๐‰๐‚ ๐ฏ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐ฆ. The morning program concluded with a friendly yet competitive match between the CCJE faculty and the MSU-Sulu employees.

The College extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Allan Asda, NDJC varsity coach, for granting our request for an exhibition game with their varsity team. Appreciation is also extended to the official referee, and to the faculty and staff of MSU-Sulu who actively participated in the event.

Pursuant to proclamation 397 issued on November 7, 2023, The ๐Œ๐’๐”-๐’๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ, ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง conducts a 2 days celebration of the 2nd Criminology Profession Week.

The celebration started with a walkathon participated by the collegeโ€™s Silent Drillers, Band Corps, Faculty Members, and students with their designated teams. Afterwards, the program was formally started at the gymnasium.

An opening remarks was given by the college secretary, Mr. Abnil Ibbo, MSCJ followed by the academic competitionโ€”Quiz bowl and Extemporaneous speech.

In the afternoon, the excitement continued as teams competes against each other with different outdoors games and activities, showcasing teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.
