On April 20, 2026, 4th-year students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) programs of the MSU-Sulu College of Education officially began their 4-day In-House Review. The activity is conducted in partnership with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University School of Education and is being held across three venues: the COEd Function Room, the Faculty Training Center, and the College of Health Science Building, from April 21 to April 24, 2026.
Prior to the start of the review sessions, a short opening program was conducted in the morning. The program began with an invocation led by Mr. Gadzfar H. Dammang, BEEd Intern Supervisor, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Asst. Prof. Jicky Joy B. Sahirul, also a BEEd Intern Supervisor.
The program formally commenced with opening remarks from Prof. Fermina O. Anuddin, Ed.D., Acting Dean of the College of Education. In her message, she encouraged the student interns to remain focused, disciplined, and committed as they prepare for their professional licensure examinations.
Meanwhile, the lecturers for the review sessions from Ateneo de Zamboanga University were formally introduced by Mr. Radam J. Yusop. The lecturers are Prof. Leah P. Mata, Prof. Kreanne F. Diaz, Ph.D., Prof. Marjorie S. Emmanuel, Ph.D., Prof. Liza M. Garrido, Ed.D., Prof. John Thronn A. De Jesus, and Prof. Espiridion D. Atilano.
This was followed by a message of appreciation from Dr. Nagder J. Aburahman, Chancellor II, who expressed his gratitude to the partner institution for their support and collaboration in making the in-house review possible.
Another inspirational message was delivered by Prof. Liza M. Garrido, Ed.D., ADZU Coordinator, who underscored the universityโs commitment to extending assistance and fostering academic growth among aspiring teachers.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Farrah Carlson L. Tandih, Ph.D., Chairperson of the COEd English Department, who encouraged the students to maximize the opportunity and approach the review with determination and confidence.
The 4-day in-house review aims to equip graduating education students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to successfully pass the licensure examination and embark on their professional journey as future educators.
