On September 18, the Union of Filipino Tourism and Travel Students (UFTTS) joined the Color Fun Run as part of the soft opening of Pasiklaban 2026.

In Episode 6, UFTTS was spotted at Panagburas Festival 2026! Held at the USM Agricultural Research Center (USMARC), the festival brought students, faculty, and visitors together to enjoy fresh harvests, explore the orchard, and experience the agricultural side of USM. Letโ€™s take a look, Ka-Turismo, as we revisit the fun and memorable moments from a celebration that offered more than just fresh fruits and gave everyone a chance to discover another side of the university beyond the classroom.

On September 11, UFTTS students and faculty came together at the USM Agricultural Research Center (USMARC) to take part in Panagburas Festival 2026.

Beyond celebrating the abundance of fruits, Panagburas gives visitors an opportunity to discover USM as more than an educational institution. It also highlights the role of agri-tourism in showcasing USMโ€™s tourism products, turning its agricultural resources into spaces for recreation, learning, exploration, and memorable visitor experiences.

The Second Year BS Tourism Management students participated in a Basic Makeup Class as part of their major subject, Professional Development and Applied Ethics, gaining hands-on experience in proper grooming and personal presentation.

With Mr. Daryl Mata and Mr. Deither Quezada serving as their resource speakers, the activity provided students with an opportunity to enhance their skills, boost their confidence, and better understand the importance of presenting themselves professionally in the tourism and hospitality industry.

May this experience inspire the students to continue learning, growing, and developing the skills they need to confidently carry themselves as future tourism professionals.
