The Union of Filipino Tourism and Travel Students (UFTTS) warmly welcomed the incoming first-year Tourism Management students during the College-based Orientation held at Cafรฉ Martina, University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan.

The day continued at the Tourism and Hospitality Management Building, where incoming Tourism Management students participated in the Department Orientation. The orientation was led by Dr. Meldred F. Samblaceno, TM Department Chairperson, together with Sir Rosyell Angelo Piosca and Sir Rudy Marc Nonesa. They presented the department's academic curriculum, policies, and expectations, giving the students a clearer understanding of the academic journey that lies ahead.

Maria Jadeliza E. Espadera, one of our incoming first-year students, shared her expectations for the journey ahead, saying, "My expectations for this program are to learn a lot, especially about the cultures of different places and various languages, particularly Japanese (Nihongo), since I am interested in learning other languages. Iโ€™m also excited to meet new people, make friends, and build connections.
