Warm congratulations to 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗘. 𝗔𝗸𝗺𝗮𝗱, a 4th year BS Chemistry student of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), for earning 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 – 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆) during the 11th Research, Development, and Extension (𝗥𝗗𝗘) Student In-House Review 2026 held on May 19 at the USM Agricultural Research Center (𝗨𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖) Building.

Akmad presented her research in the field of 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, standing out among student researchers from various colleges who showcased and defended their outputs across Basic Research, Social Science Research, and Applied or Innovation Research categories.

This achievement reflects her dedication, academic excellence, and passion for research innovation.

The study was conducted under the guidance of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗭. 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗮𝗹, with 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗕. 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐚 as co-adviser.
