The College of Education conducted a whole-day facility cleaning and campus enhancement activity on April 23, 2026, as part of its preparation for the upcoming accreditation by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The initiative was carried out through the collaborative efforts of the CED Local Student Government, faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
The activity aimed to ensure that all classrooms, offices, and shared learning spaces meet the required standards of safety, cleanliness, functionality, and organization. Participants engaged in general cleaning, waste management, minor repairs, and improvement of physical learning environments to create a more conducive and compliant academic setting.
ISO accreditation is a globally recognized certification that evaluates institutions based on established quality management systems, such as ISO 9001. These standards focus on consistent service delivery, continuous improvement, risk management, and adherence to documented procedures. For educational institutions, this means maintaining well-organized facilities, ensuring student safety, and demonstrating efficient administrative and academic processes.
In line with these principles, the College of Education also reviewed its internal procedures, documentation practices, and maintenance protocols to align with ISO requirements. The preparation reflects the institutionโs commitment to quality assurance, accountability, and excellence in education.
Through this initiative, the College not only strengthens its readiness for ISO assessment but also promotes a culture of shared responsibility among stakeholders. The active participation of students and staff highlights the institutionโs collective effort to uphold high standards and provide a safe, clean, and effective learning environment.
