‎With gratitude and pride, we announce the successful completion of the 300-hour on-the-job training by the 4th-year ILJ students, who were deployed to various agencies.
‎
‎On March 30, 2026, the OJT trainees assigned to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) SOX Regional Office officially completed their training in the presence of the OJT coordinators, Prof. Nasrudin M. Datucali and Prof. Hasim K. Iskak. Simultaneously, a new group of ten OJT trainees was deployed to the same agency.

‎On March 31, 2026, the trainees deployed at the NCMF General Santos City Provincial Office 12-A likewise concluded their OJT, witnessed by the OJT coordinators, Prof. Nasrudin M. Datucali, Prof. Norjaida Maliga, and Prof. Abdulganie Yusop, along with IMEAS Dean Prof. Sofia G. Molao.

‎On April 01, 2026, the OJT trainees from the Shari'ah Public Assistance Office (SPAO) in Cotabato City formally completed their training in the presence of the OJT coordinators, Prof. Hasim K. Iskak and Prof. Ali A. Ayob.
‎
‎On April 07, 2026, the trainees assigned to NCMF Koronadal City Satellite Office completed their exit program under the guidance of OJT coordinator Prof. Nasrudin M. Datucali.
‎
‎With deep appreciation, the USM-Shari’ah Club acknowledges the IMEAS Dean and the Islamic Studies OJT Coordinators for their constant guidance, support, and supervision throughout the students’ OJT deployment all the way to the successful completion of the exit program.

Gratitude is likewise extended to the aforementioned agencies—the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) SOX Regional Office, NCMF General Santos City Provincial Office 12-A, Shari'ah Public Assistance Office (SPAO) in Cotabato City, and NCMF Koronadal City Satellite Office—for offering the students with valuable learning experiences and opportunities for professional growth.

The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos SOCCSKSARGEN marked the successful completion of 300 hours On-the-Job Training Program for twelve (12) students from the University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, Cotabato Province. These students, taking up the Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies majoring in Halal Studies and Shari’ah, concluded their training through an exit program held on March 30, 2026, at the NCMF SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Office in Cotabato City.

Organized by the Administrative and Finance Division under the supervision of Chief Administrative Officer Carimah U. Hadji Ismael, CPA, the program highlighted the students’ valuable contributions, achievements, and the dedication they demonstrated throughout their training.

Acting Regional Director Atty. Gapor G. Quituar, SCL, MAIS, graced the event with his opening remarks, leaving the trainees with an inspiring message that will serve as a guiding light in their journey as future public servants.

OJT Coordinator Mr. Nasrudin M. Datucali, MAIS, MPA, also shared a motivational message, expressing gratitude to NCMF for its unwavering support. Representing the batch, Ms. Hasmin L. Balayman delivered a heartfelt speech of thanks, reflecting the collective appreciation of her fellow trainees.

The exit program served not only as a culmination of their OJT experience but also as a bridge toward their professional future. It underscored the Commission’s commitment to nurturing education, fostering personal and professional growth, and preparing young individuals to meet the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

On March 26, 2026, the Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Division of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos SOCCSKSARGEN Region, led by Acting Chief Sahania M. Alonto, MPA, under the supervision of Acting Regional Director Atty. Gapor G. Quituar, SCL, MAIS, conducted a one-day Training on Peace Education and Peace Building at the NCMF SOX Conference Room.

The program ran from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and was attended by 12 on-the-job training students from the University of Southern Mindanao–Kabacan, along with NCMF SOX employees.

The training focused on key topics: Republic Act No. 11596 (Anti-Child Marriage Law) and Logotherapy: Theory of Meaning, discussed by Mr. Mohamad Misfer K. Khanakan, RPm, CHRA. Participants were reminded that protecting the dignity and future of every child is both a legal duty and a moral responsibility. Through the lens of Logotherapy, they also learned that meaning and hope can be found even in times of suffering, showing that peace begins within.

The program concluded with the awarding of certificates and a renewed commitment to building a culture of compassion, resilience, and peace. In a world filled with conflict and uncertainty, education remains the strongest tool to shapes minds, strengthen values, and builds a virtuous character that prevents violence and misunderstanding in the society.

The NCMF SOX extends its heartfelt gratitude to NCMF Secretary Abdurahim N. Sabuddin for his unwavering support and leadership, which continue to inspire and strengthen the Commission’s peace-building initiatives.

Alhamdulillah! The 4th-year ILJ students have been officially deployed and assigned to their respective training areas.

On January 26, 2026, the first batch was officially assigned to the NCMF Regional office in 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆. Following this, on January 27, 2026, the second batch was successfully deployed to NCMF 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 and NCMF 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.
‎
𝗡𝗖𝗠𝗙 stands for 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀.
‎It is a Philippine government agency mandated to promote the rights, welfare, and development of Muslim Filipinos, as well as to preserve and enhance Islamic faith, culture, and traditions. NCMF also implements programs related to Education, Halal certification, Shari’ah, Da’wah, and Socio-economic development, and serves as a coordinating body between Muslim communities and the government.

‎Writing a thesis is one of the most stressful parts of college life—sleepless nights, endless revisions, self-doubt, and moments when giving up felt easier. Yet through every struggle, Allah made a way.

‎It was never an easy journey, but it became a reminder that perseverance, du‘ā’, and trust in Allah turn hardship into growth. Every late night and every challenge carried a lesson, and with them came relief.
