Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental โ€” Whelza Mae M. Diolola, a fourth-year AB Political Science student from the University of Southern Mindanao and a proud member of USM Koro-Bulawan, brought pride and joy to the university through her outstanding performance at the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) 2025.

USM Koro-Bulawan showcased exceptional talent, earning 11th place in the Standard Choir and an impressive 7th place in the Show Choir category. Whelzaโ€™s passion, discipline, and musical excellence continue to inspire fellow students and the entire USM community.

The Kahidlaw 2025 celebration, held last August 7, 2025, was a triumphant success, with the 4th-year students actively participating in the event. Despite emerging as 3rd runner-up, the 4th-year students showed remarkable spirit and enthusiasm this year.

In a related development, John Kurt Hurboda was elected as the new Society President, Fiona Marohom as Auditor, Jade Carl Aballe as Business Manager, and Harvey Biongan as the new 4th-year Representative.

The Kahidlaw celebration is an annual event that showcases the skills and welcomes the Polsci freshmen. This year's event was no exception, with various activities that highlighted the students' creativity and camaraderie.

On behalf of the 4th-year section A, we wish President Hurboda all the best in his new role.
