After weeks of preparation, sleepless nights, and the lingering fear of not being able to give their best, the Purple Pride continues to shine as a new batch of Southlanders takes on the challenge of serving as the Boys and Girls Week City Officials of Kabankalan City for Rotary Year 2026โ2027.
After a long break brought by the worldwide pandemic, and following two consecutive years of Southland College serving as Vice Mayor, the school once again steps into City Hallโthis time with a new batch of Southlanders ready to take on greater responsibilities.
Behind this achievement is the unwavering support of Sir Jimel Sevilla, together with the dedicated teachers who guided, trained, and encouraged the students throughout their preparation. Their time, patience, and commitment helped the young leaders build the confidence and discipline needed to represent Southland College and take on the responsibilities entrusted to them.
Their success is not only a reflection of their individual efforts but also of the teachers and mentors who stood behind them every step of the way. From preparation to the final moment, their guidance served as a reminder that every achievement is made possible through teamwork, trust, and support.
And with yet another milestone added to Southland Collegeโs growing list of accomplishments, 2026 is truly shaping up to be Southlandโs yearโa year of leadership, excellence, and opportunities for Southlanders to shine beyond the campus.
As they step into City Hall, these young leaders carry more than their titles. They carry the name of Southland College, the trust of their fellow students, and the responsibility to serve with integrity, humility, and purpose.
The Purple Pride continues to rise and this time, Southlanders are ready to serve the SCity.
