Students, Student Supreme Government (SSG) officers, and faculty members joined the initiative in promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and climate action. The activity highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in protecting the environment and fostering a more sustainable future.

Through active participation and community engagement, Southland College reaffirms its commitment to environmental stewardship and the development of socially responsible individuals dedicated to creating positive change for future generations.

𝗦𝗦𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🌱

The Supreme Student Government of Southland College joins the City Government of Kabankalan in celebration of the 26th City Environment Week 2026 through its "Oplan Tanum" tree-planting activity on June 17, 2026, at the proposed Sanitary Landfill Site, Barangay Salong, Kabankalan City.

With this year's theme, "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.", the activity highlights the importance of environmental stewardship, biodiversity conservation, and collective action in building a greener and more climate-resilient community. Through the planting of Bangkal trees and other native species, participants contribute to the preservation of our natural heritage and the protection of the environment for future generations.

As advocates of leadership, service, and sustainability, the SSG proudly stands alongside various organizations and stakeholders in supporting initiatives that promote environmental awareness and responsibility.
