🌏🎓 Connect, collaborate, and shape the future of higher education at the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026!

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is pleased to inform interested parties of the invitation from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) to participate in the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026, to be held on 03–05 November 2026 at the Bali International Convention Centre, Bali, Indonesia.

Under the theme “Advancing Education for Purpose and Impact,” the summit will bring together more than 1,000 academics, policymakers, and industry experts to explore higher education transformation through internationalization, career readiness, and global partnerships.

Participants can engage in strategic sessions, presidential roundtables, masterclasses, workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities covering topics such as AI, digital transformation, student mobility, curriculum design, and institutional resilience.

CHED likewise intends to establish a Philippine Pavilion to showcase the country’s higher education internationalization initiatives, promote Philippine HEIs, and strengthen the Philippines’ global visibility.

Please note that registration, travel, accommodation, and other incidental expenses shall be borne by the participating institution, subject to applicable accounting and auditing rules.

August 29, 2026- A Pre-Departure Meeting was conducted to orient and prepare CPSU delegates for the 7th International Summer Course Program 2026 to be held at Universitas Negeri Malang, East Java, Indonesia.

The orientation was led by Dr. Joe-an Mae G. Escober, Director for International Affairs and Linkages Office, ensuring everyone was ready to represent the University with excellence, confidence, and Filipino pride! 🌏✈️

Representing the Institution are 3 BSHM undergraduate students from the Hinigaran and Main Campus, 2 graduate students, 2 faculty members from Hinigaran Campus, and 4 Graduate School faculty.

This international summer course is a wonderful avenue for cultural exchange, academic collaboration, and strengthening the University's global partnerships in line with our internationalization thrusts.

𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗢 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘!

The CPSU International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), through Dr. Joe-an Mae G. Escober, is mentoring the Kabankalan Catholic College (KCC) in their first-ever bid to join the World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI).

The two-day writeshop is being held on August 14-15, 2026, at the Student Affairs Services (SAS) Office, Kabankalan Catholic College, Kabankalan City.

This initiative underscores CPSU's commitment to sharing expertise and strengthening ties with fellow HEIs in Kabankalan City, in support of shared advancement toward global recognition in innovation and academic excellence. 🌏 📈

The CPSU congratulates Kabankalan Catholic College on this significant milestone and looks forward to the continued success of this endeavor.
