SEED-2 offers short-term study/research opportunities (4–8 months) in Canada for students from ASEAN Member States, Pacific Island Countries, and Mongolia, aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Please note that only Canadian post-secondary institutions (that are Designated Learning Institutions) can submit applications for the competition on behalf of eligible students from ASEAN Member States, Pacific Island Countries and Mongolia on or before 𝟐𝟒 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 through the My EduCanada online portal. Students and institutions cannot submit applications directly in the online scholarship portal.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢: Bound for Indonesia, nine students and three faculty members from Central Philippines State University departed from the Main Campus on October 24 to participate in the 6th International Summer Course Program 2025, organized by Universitas Negeri Malang Indonesia.

Facilitated by the University’s International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), this initiative demonstrates CPSU’s commitment to providing its students and faculty with broader learning opportunities within and beyond Philippine borders.

𝗪𝗨𝗥𝗜 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿

The Board of Directors of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) Foundation duly appointed Central Philippines State University (CPSU) – International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO) Director Dr. Joe-an Mae G. Escober as a WURI Mentor.

Dr. Escober received the Certificate of Appointment issued on January 30, 2026, signed by WURI Foundation Board of Directors Chair Mr. Dong-Sung Cho.

Through the appointment, Dr. Escober is “authorized and entrusted to provide guidance and support to universities in the preparation and submission of innovation cases, in alignment with the mission and standards of WURI."

This recognition is both a privilege and a responsibility to share expertise, support innovation, and contribute to meaningful impact across higher education communities.
