TRUE STRENGTH: READY TO SERVE, PREPARED TO LEAD 🛡️🌱

"True strength isn't just about standing ready to protect our nation; it is about cultivating life, preserving our environment, and ensuring community preparedness."

On September 12, 2026, the Zamboanga Sibugay Polytechnic Institute (ZSPI) ROTC Unit gathered for a pivotal Standby Reserve Force Mustering—a powerful display of commitment, resilience, and patriotism.

Presiding as Guest of Honor and Speaker was MAJ JOVER S ONDOY (Inf) PA. The event was carried out under the supervision of MAJ LOREFEL O JUDAYA (INF) PA, commandant, alongside the unit’s Admin NCO SGT JERRY CENIZA, the training staff and Advance ROTC Officers and in close partnership with MR PRESCO P. CAÑETE JR., NSTP Coordinator.

Basic ROTC graduates from SY 2023–2024 and SY 2024–2025 were called upon for mustering and assembly testing. Far beyond traditional instruction, they engaged in a rigorous, holistic day of capability-building and evaluations—proving that military discipline and civic duty go hand in hand.

From mastering defense and communication to caring for our environment and serving our communities, these young leaders embody what it means to be ready for anything: protecting both our people and our planet.

Salute to the leadership, spirit, grit, and heart of the ZSPI ROTC Reserve Force! 🫡

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰.

ROTC is more than marching, drills, and ceremonies. It is a journey of character, discipline, leadership, and service.

In every command, every movement, and every challenge, our young cadets learn valuable lessons that extend far beyond the training ground—how to lead, how to persevere, how to work as a team, and how to serve others.

The nation needs young Filipinos who are disciplined in character, courageous in action, and committed to a greater purpose.

Your ROTC journey can be the beginning of that transformation.

Be part of something bigger.

Build discipline. Develop leadership. Gain life skills. Serve the country.

Join ROTC.

LOOK | MILITARY COURTESY & DISCIPLINE LECTURE

On 05 September 2026, the Zamboanga Sibugay Polytechnic Institute ROTC Unit (ZSPI ROTCU) transformed into a living testament of order, honor, and resilience.

During today’s Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) formation, the crisp sound of boots hitting the pavement echoed a deeper message. Instructed by SSg. Jerry Ceniza (Inf) PA, Admin NCO, and expertly guided by MAJ. Lorefel O Judaya (Inf) PA, Commandant, alongside the steadfast leadership of Sgt. Joila L. Borda PA (RES) and Sgt. Saldy Y Basilio PA (RES), the cadets stood shoulder-to-shoulder, proving that military courtesy and discipline are far more than just rigid rules.

This session aims to instill the true meaning of military courtesy — respect, proper conduct, and mutual regard for rank and uniform — alongside the core value of discipline: the willingness to follow orders, uphold standards, and act with integrity even when no one is watching. It reinforces that courtesy builds camaraderie and respect, while discipline strengthens character, unity, and readiness — essential foundations for every cadet to serve with honor, loyalty, and pride.

𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐂𝐓: 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐇, 𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄

Under 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟭𝟲𝟯, tertiary students are required to complete one of the three NSTP components across two semesters: 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗖𝗪𝗧𝗦) for community welfare and development, 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗧𝗦) for education and literacy, or 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀 (𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖) for military leadership, discipline, and preparedness. Each component offers a distinct way for young Filipinos to contribute to their communities and country.

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army recognizes that every path under NSTP can help shape responsible and service-oriented citizens. For those who aspire to develop leadership, discipline, and readiness while answering the call to serve, ROTC offers a meaningful opportunity to take that commitment further. Through training and experience, future cadets can build the foundation needed for national service and pursue a path toward becoming commissioned officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Force.
