In celebration of the feast day of Saint Paul, patron saint of the Faculty of Information and Communications Technology, the 22nd FICT Day & 4th Technolympics was successfully organized by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Students – (PSITS) of Aklan Catholic College on January 22–23, 2026, with the theme “Beyond Codes and Circuits: Building Bonds in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.”

The two-day event showcased the skills, creativity, and teamwork of FICT and ICT TESDA students through competitions, talks, and activities. A highlight was a talk by Mr. AJ C. Tomco, Information Officer of the Department of Information and Communications Technology, who discussed how AI works, its types, learning approaches, history, current applications, and future potential, emphasizing the benefits of AI for humanity.

Students competed in Network Cabling, Quiz Bowl, Digital Arts, Speed Typing, Mobile Legends, P.IT.I.K, and the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. Technolympics 2026. The event concluded with an awarding ceremony celebrating creativity, excellence, and teamwork.

On September 19–20, 2025, our 4th-year BSCS and BSIT students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) held a 1.5-day Computer Literacy Program at Aklan Central Institute, Inc. The program focused on introducing participants to Canva, where they learned to create simple posters, presentations, and infographics.
